They're My Mates?!

(Two day time skip)

Today is my 21st birthday and all of the boys have wished me a happy birthday! I had just left from the dance studio and was now heading home. I arrived home and it was dark inside. "Hello, guys are you home?" I waited. No response. I took off my shoes and walked to the kitchen. As I entered the kitchen the lights flickered on and a chorus of "Happy Birthday"'s filled my ears.

All of the boys walked up to me and we had a big group hug. The boys took me to the dining table and a beautifully decorated cake sat in the middle of it. Around it sat many other foods and delicacies. We all ate and shared cake. Around 4:00 we cleaned up and I went to my room. I sat in my room to clear my mind so that I can get a clear scent of my mate without confusing it with another scent. On your twenty first birthday you can find your mate's scent at anytime. After some time, around 6:00, I started to get two scents that my wolf claimed to be our mate's. I walked out of my room and continued to follow the scent until I arrived at the living room where all of the boys were. I couldn't tell who's scent it was after all of their scents started to mix together. I cleared my throat and caught the boy's attention. As I looked at them I started to speak "Um...As you know I am a werewolf so that means I have a specific mate that I start looking for on my twenty first birthday. Since today is my twenty first birthday, I caught a scent coming from one of you guys. Firstly, I need to know if you have mates or someone that you together with."

They all sat and told me what I need to know. Jihae started off first "My lady, neither the prince nor I have a mate. Most rabbits find their mates at a young age but neither of us have found ours." Jiwoo spoke up next "I do not have a mate but I do not have a need for one." Jisoo looked a Jiyeon before speaking "Since we are cats we just go around and mate when we need to, so we don't really have mates." I started to think to myself ' Okay, Jisoo and Jiyeon are out, and I think Jiwoo is out as well. That only leaves Jieun and Jihae.' I looked around at all of them "Everyone except for Jieun and Jihae leave the room please." As the boys began to leave the room the scents began to thin out and I caught the scent from before. I walked over to Jieun and Jihae, inhaling both their scents. The scent from before matched their scent exactly. I looked at them once more before looking at the ground "I think that the two of you are my...mates..." Before I could see their reactions I ran out of the room.

I ran into my bedroom and shut the door before lying on my bed. I thought to myself 'Why do I have to be a werewolf?! Why do I still have that stupid mark tattooed onto my skin?!'
I never told anyone about my mark. My mother and myself were the only people who knew about my mark. My mother told me that the mark was my mate's name engraved into my skin but instead of one name I had two engraved. My mother told me it was an accident made by the moon goddess and I just forgot about it after that. I pulled the sleeve of my shirt up and looked at my right wrist. The names still as clear as day. No last names. Just first names.

This was the first time I was actually able to read the names. When I was younger the mark wasn't clear and I forgot about it until now. It's official now, I have two mates.
