As I was examining the mark on my wrist, I heard a knock on the door before it opened and Jihae and Jieun walked in. They shut the door and walked to my bed before sitting at the foot of it. I looked at them with wet eyes and they looked back. An awkward silence flowed between us. Jieun looked at me and pulled his glove off his hand before showing me a mark similar to mine "We are connected through fate. The three of us..." Jieun spoke. On the top of Jieun's hand was an engraving of my name. "y/n" was the name engraved on his hand. Jihae looked at me and moved his hair, revealing the back of his neck. Where, once again, my name was engraved. In a calm voice he spoke "My lady, as the prince has said, we are connected through fate. We are your mates and you are ours."

Jieun moved from the foot of the bed and sat right next to me. He held my hand and said to me in a soft voice "You do know about the marking process, correct?" I already knew what he was talking about. My mother told me that once you find your mate, they put a mark in the spot between the neck and shoulder. I looked at him and nodded. "Then you know about the mark?" Once again I nodded. Both Jieun and Jihae started to look at my neck and I immediately knew what they were thinking. I looked at them with a straight face "Do you really want to mark me right now?" I sighed. They both looked at me and Jihae spoke "Yes My lady. It would give us both comfort to know that those cats wouldn't be able to touch you." I looked at Jieun for confirmation and he nodded. I slightly tilted my neck to the side before speaking "You may but please do not be rough." Both Jihae and Jieun came closer to me, their faces almost right next to mine...
