Thinking About It...

The next morning I woke up alone. Jieun and Jihae were gone and only my shirt and shorts remained scattered on the floor. I sat up, wincing at the pain in my lower regions. I got dressed and pulled my hair into (h/s).

I walked out of my room and headed towards the kitchen. I passed the living room and noticed it was empty. None of the animal's belongings were scattered around like before. I shook it off and walked into the kitchen.

Jihae was cooking breakfast and Jieun was trying to help. Jisoo and Jiyeon sat at the table chatting, while Jiwoo sat reading another romance novel. Jihae noticed me and told me to sit. I sat down and the food was set out. My plate of eggs and bacon with fruit salad was put in front of me and I took in the scent.

At the smell, my stomach lurched. I felt like hurling. I put a hand over my mouth and rushed to the bathroom. Once I was in the bathroom, I emptied my stomach into the toilet. I felt my hair gently get pulled back and Jihae rubbing my back.

Once I finished, I cleaned up and turned to Jihae before walking out of the bathroom. I started to think, 'Why would a simple plate of eggs, bacon, and salad make me throw up just by smelling it?' I know I'm not sick. The only thing I did yesterday was-. Wait...When Jihae, Jieun, and I...No. No. No. I can't be. But...There's the way to know. That test.

I left to the store to pick up what I needed to. I walked into the store and headed towards the aisle with the pregnancy tests. That's when I started to get negative looks from some people. I grabbed what I needed and payed and left, but not with out the cashier giving me a dirty look.

I hurried home and rushed into the bathroom. I took out the test and followed the directions. I set it on the sink and waited.

Five minutes...
       Four minutes...
               Three minutes...
                         Two minutes...
                                One minute...

I lifted the test up to see the result and my eyes widened...

The result was...
