The letter fluttered to the floor and I gaped in shock. The letter, even with only those six words, seemed so real. My thoughts started to race. 'Is this a prank? Is it real? Should I show the others?' I put the letter on the desk and slowly walked into the bathroom. I washed my face and looked into the mirror. I looked like a mess. My hair was messy and felt greasy. I sluggishly walked back to my room and sat on my bed. As I sat there, my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and saw "Mother" on the screen. I felt confused. Why would mother be calling me now of all times? I picked up the phone and answered it.

Y = You

C = Caller

Y: "Hello?"

C: "Hello. Is this Y/N L/N?"

Y: "Yes it is. Who is this?"

C: "I am a paramedic. We found this phone and you were one of the emergency contacts"

Y: "Paramedic?! What happened to my mother?! Is she alright?!"

C: "I can't tell you that. Please come to (Mother's Address) if you want to know."

Y: "Alright. I will."

I quickly dressed and walked out of my room. I passed the living room and saw Jihae and Jieun sitting together. They looked at me. Seeming a little concerned at my panicked state. I looked at them and put on my shoes. "I'll be back. Something's happened to my mother." As I turned to leave Jihae stood up, followed by Jieun. "Let us come with you, My Lady. Please." I sighed and nodded. We left the house and quickly headed to my mother's house.

As we got there, I saw police cars and an ambulance parked in front of the house. As we walked up to the house, one of the officers approached me. "Are you Y/N L/N?" I nodded my head. 'Yes. I am." The officer looked at me sadly. "Ms. L/N, your mother has been found dead inside her home. She was found mutilated from the neck down." At hearing those words, I collapsed onto the cement. Tears streamed down my face like a never ending stream. Jihae and Jieun gently helped me up. I looked towards the officer once more. "C-Can I see her?" The officer nodded and led me inside. As soon as we entered the house, the smell of rotting flesh and blood filled my nose. We walked into the living room of the house and there she was. My mother lay strewn across the floor. Her body had been cut open in various places and one deep cut on her stomach exposed her internal organs. The organs themselves looked like they had been pulled out and then stuffed back in like stuffing from a teddy bear. The most gruesome and horrifying wound was my mother's neck. It had been torn open messily, like an animal had ripped it open. Her windpipe had been ripped out and placed next to her.

I stood there for a while just looking at her corpse before turning to the officer. "Have you found any clues as to who did this? Anything at all?" The officer shook his head. "No fingerprints, no murder weapon, no DNA samples, Nothing." I sighed. "Alright. Thank you." The officer looked at me one more time before leaving the room to give me some time to grieve over my mother's corpse. As I looked at her, I noticed a piece of paper protruding from under her back. I looked around before quickly taking the paper. I unfolded it and read it. 'Look at her now. A corpse on the floor. A bloody mess of skin and bones forevermore. Now she's gone. A freedom for you. But now I see you weep, but for who? It can't be that woman you called your "Mother". You said she called you her accidental "other". You weep, you cry, you grieve in pain, but you probably don't even remember her name. I have to say goodbye for now. You can keep searching, but I will be lurking. Following you forevermore.'

The letter had no name on it but somehow I knew whoever wrote it wanted me to find it. I put it in my purse and left.

I'm sorry for not updating for so long! I'm still going to update this story. After I finish this book, I might write a Nameless: The One Thing You Must Recall Werewolf reader book if you guys want me to. I am thinking of what pairing I would use.
