Jack was quiet on the way to rescue Cry. 'This is my damn fault..' was all he could think of as him and the rest of the pack were running full speed through the forest. Mark was running next to Jack and looked over at him. "You know this is gonna be dangerous, right?" Mark sent to him through his mind. "Really Mark? Of course I fuckin' do. For all we know, he could be dead by now." Jack sent back, obviously in an irritated tone to the other alpha. "Jack, don't think like tha-" Jack howled loudly and ran in front of Mark, picking up Cry's scent. They were close to the lost member and he knew it. He was hurt, and in bad trouble. "Shut up, Mark. I don't need these comments right now. We have to save Cry." The irishman spat back at him, the rest of the pack howling after Mark did. After a few moments of running, they finally arrived to what seemed like the other pack's cabin. Jack came to a stop and his fur spiked up on his back as there was loud screams of agony coming from within the cabin. Mark stepped next to Jack as he saw the other alpha start to get angry and defensive. A man appeared, who appeared to look very similar to Jack, but was also very different looking.

His hair was the brownish-grey color Jack's hair was before he dyed it and his eyes were pitch black. Tattoos covered him as well as gauges in his stretched out earlobes. Jack put a paw forward in a defensive stance and growled at him, his tail between his two hind legs. "Now now, no need to get all defensive. Your friend is fine." The other man's voice was deeper than Jack's and his normal irish accent was barely audible. Mark turned back into his human form, his eyes still remaining red however. "Anti... We know that's not the truth, we can hear him from here!" The alpha yelled, angered by this. Jack soon turned back into his human form, followed by the rest of the pack doing so. "Ye better give Cry back! We're not leaving without him!" Jack added, his accent thick with fury at this situation. Anti looked at the other pack, smirking with deviance and a sense of pride to him. "Well... If you really want him back so much why don't you come and get him?" He motioned them over towards the cabin. "Just you two though, the rest of your posse needs to stay outside. You have my word now that they will not get hurt." His voice was serious when he said this, and his pitch black eyes looked back at the two alphas and the rest of their pack. "Stay out here guys, this could be dangerous an-" Mark got cut off by Felix, walking forward with furrowed eyebrows. "Hell no! My best friend is in there and I want to help him! I'm not staying out here." He said, his swedish accent thick in the tense and suspenseful air.

"Felix, you're staying here. End of story." Mark and Jack said in unison and turned around, walking with Anti into the cabin. Felix went to follow but was held back by the musky and strong American, Ken. Jack and Mark went into the cabin which immediately stunk of blood. "Jesus Christ.." Jack muttered under his breath and walked close to Mark, looking around the cabin. It was a mess, and smelled heavily of other supernatural beings like demons and vampires mostly. Cry screamed louder, which seemed to be coming from a basement of some sort, but this one sounded different. It sounded like Cry was defeated, hurting, dying. Anti had a huge smirk on his face and held his hands behind his back, a dark laughter coming from his eerie self. Jack and Mark dashed to where the basement door was and broke it down. The two alphas jumped to the bottom of the stairs and looked around the room. Jack saw Cry first but was horribly terrified. "M-Mark.." He stuttered, pulling on the taller alpha's sleeve to get his attention. Mark looked over and his eyes widened, and he stepped back a tad bit, surprised at the scene before them.

Cry was tied up to the wall with heavy metal chains, slash and cut marks everywhere on his body, clothes ripped in so many places. So much blood dripped from him as his breath was quiet and low, almost seeming to not be there. "It worked.." Anti said as he came out from the shadows of the room. He was accompanied by the one and only Darkiplier, who had a mass grin on his face. "You fuckin' bastards!! Why the hell did you do this to him?! What was the point of torturing him to the brick of this?!" Jack asked, taking steps forward towards them absent-mindedly until Mark pulled him back. "Jack, this isn't the time for fighting, we need to get Cry back to the cabin and take care of him." Mark said, attempting to keep the irishman calm from this. Jack let out a breath as Dark and Anti started to laugh at him for losing his cool. "Cry isn't Cry anymore.." Dark's voice rang through the room as the both of them disappeared in the darkness. Mark motioned Jack to stay back, after hearing what Dark said before him and Anti left. What the two did to Cry was amazingly sadistic. He even had his old mask back on, but it wasn't how it usually was before. His old mask was plain white, with two simple and hallow circles drawn on them with a straight line under them to make a regular straight face. It was made of porcelain material but now... Half of the mask was broken and bloodied, the eyes being scribbled around and the usual straight mouth was now a scribbled line, like a heartbeat line of a heart attack.

"Cry..." Mark's soothing voice said to him, looking at him with caution. "He's not here anymore..." Cry said. His voice had a coldness to it, deeper than usual and clouded with some emotion that the alpha couldn't put his finger on. "What do you mean he's not here?" He asked, careful of his tone just in case it triggered Cry in any way or form. "I mean that HE'S NOT HERE ANYMORE!" He yelled, ripping the heavy chains from the walls and breathing heavily. Mark stepped back and his eyes widened with surprise, seeing Cry's demeanor change so quickly. Jack stood next to Mark and watched Cry. He was kneeling on the cold ground of the basement and ripped the chains from around his wrists. He slowly stood up and looked at the two alphas, his eyes were a bright red color and his lips were curled into a crazed grin towards them. Cry squinted his eyes some, seeing Jack and Mark as Anti and Dark. "You both tried to kill me! Some pack members you are, huh?! I THOUGHT PACK MEMBERS WERE SUPPOSE TO PROTECT EACH OTHER BUT YET HERE YOU ARE, BEATING AND ALMOST KILLING ONE OF YOUR GODDAMN OWN!!!" Cry's voice boomed through the basement and the rest of the cabin. Jack couldn't help but see his hands start to tremble as he had moved closer to Mark, almost standing behind him like an afraid child.

That mask held some bad memories for the pack and Cry as well. When they found Cry, he was wearing that mask and carried it everywhere with him. He used to have heavy social anxiety which caused him to wear the mask everywhere he went to sort of comfort him in a way. After a few years of being with the pack they eased him into taking off the mask and not wearing it anymore. He'd become an extremely more happy person after that but now he was back to square one. Square one being called Mad Cry.
