It was now nighttime, around 11pm to be exact. The two alphas were sound asleep next to each other with nothing else sounding but their beeping machines to monitor their conditions. Jack's wounds seemed to be healing slowly but surely- however he needed to rest for the next couple of days due to the severity of them. Mark's physical strength seemed to be coming along and going back to its regular amount instead of being horribly tired and woozy. Bob and Cry sat in the infirmary, Bob in one chair and Cry had his feet propped up on a cozy couch they had in there. The elder looked out of the window at the crescent moon and leaned back. It felt great to finally take a break, have a breather, and to know everyone was safe and sound inside the cabin. Cry's blue eyes were gazed upon the ceiling above, thinking about the events that had taken place recently. In a way, Bob was the real grown up figure in the pack- therefore they saw him as a fatherly figure while together.
"Hey Bob.." Cry said, his eyes shifting over to the calm man. "Yeah?" He asked, looking over at him from the window. "Something you want to talk about?" He added. Cry shrugged a bit and looked up at the ceiling again. "How are you always so calm?" The tall male asked, his voice laced with deep serenity. Bob readjusted himself in the chair and pushed his glasses up. "Well, it takes practice really. Being calm allows better thinking in any situation whether it be bad or good. Besides, I am older than all of you so I've had the most experience technically speaking." Cry listened to him, taking all the words he was saying into consideration. "Why do you ask anyways?" Bob asked curiously. Cry usually wasn't the type to ask questions like these, he kept to himself or spoke with Felix about things like this. Cry cleared his throat and started to fumble with his hands. Bob noticed this was a nervous habit of his and furrowed his brows a bit, leaning in his seat. "I've been feeling odd lately..." Cry said, avoiding eye contact with Bob. "Ever since Anti and Dark took me, I haven't felt the same really.." Looking over, Bob nodded and listened to what he had to say.
"How do you feel then? What seems to be the matter?"
"The urges are coming back..." Cry looked at Bob with a somewhat serious expression. "I see... I figured that might happen sooner or later.." Bob muttered quietly and leaned his face on his hand. "What'd you say?" Cry snapped at Bob, his vision darted towards him. His voice was cold and deeper than before. Bob noticed and cleared his throat and sat up straight. "Cry..." He said in a parental type of tone. He looked at him and his gaze stayed fixated on him before a few moments he snapped out of it. Shaking his head, he looked down and his hair covered a bit of his face. "Sorry... I didn't me-", "It's fine." Bob cut him off to reassure him not to stress over it since that makes it worse for him. "Alright, how about this. I'll give you a small test, but we have to go outside for it." Bob said and stood up. Cry nodded and did as well, walking out of the infirmary with Bob and outside. "Okay. I want you to focus on yourself, your energy. I'm going to try and distract you from that." Bob explained. Cry nodded and closed his eyes, focusing the best he could on his inner energy.
"Hey Cry, look at those two over there! Totally don't even know what's coming to them!" Bob said and pointed in a direction. Cry furrowed his eyebrows and started to hear a small whisper, one he despised hearing. 'Open your eyes and go over there..' It whispered and he felt like it was tugging at his eyelids. He shut his eyes tighter and shook his head. Bob watched observantly and took note of his body language. "I bet you their blood is nice and warm, probably sweet too." He added, stepping a little bit closer to see how he would react. 'Go, go, GO!' The whisper was now yelling completely at him to open his eyes which irritated him. He growled quietly and his hands found the sides of his head and pulled at the hair that was there. "He's starting to yell at me, Bob..!" Cry panicked and Bob nodded. "Focus your energy again! Focus with all you have!" Bob encouraged him and watched some more. Cry listened and untangled his hands from his hair and attempted to concentrate. The yelling seemed to only get louder within his eardrums and caused him to growl once more, taking half of a step forward and hunched over. Bob took a small step back and continued watching as Cry's hands turned into a clawing shape and he clenched his jaw. "Cry...." Bob said sternly and put a hand on his shoulder. "Cry!" Bob said again and saw the other male's eyes. They were a crimson red and a smirk was spread across his face. "He's not here anymore..." His voice was deep and eerie sounding. Bob furrowed his eyebrows and pulled him by the shirt. "Like hell he is." He growled at him.
