It had been a few days since the whole incident with Cry, Dark, and Anti. The pack was safe and sound inside their cabin with everybody in their assigned rooms that they shared. Cry was healing nicely and actually almost feeling fully back to normal. Jack had healed nicely as well, with the exception of a sore arm and occasional headaches. Mark and Jack were sleeping soundly in their room as it was around 8:30 in the morning on a rather cold Friday morning. The brisk air came in through the window as frost covered the grass on the outside. Mark was under his blanket and furrowed his eyebrows, tossing and turning in his bed. Jack was a light sleeper, plus since he was a wolf his hearing was enhanced. He opened his eyes and squinted, looking over at Mark with a curious and concerned expression. "Mark..?" He called out quietly to him, not wanting to be too loud to wake up the rest of the pack. Mark turned and laid on his side, facing the wall and his breathing was uneven and he started to sweat. Jack pulled the blanket off of himself and sat up, standing and walking to Mark and put a hand on his shoulder. "Mark? Are you alright..?" He asked, his Irish accent thick with tiredness that hadn't completely washed away yet from the early morning.
Mark opened his eyes and unexpectedly they were that bright alpha red. He turned around quick and grabbed Jack's wrist and twisted it harshly. That caused Jack to hiss and push Mark's face back on instinct, pulling his hand back.
"What the hell, Mark!?" Jack said as he held his moved his wrist around slightly and winced. Mark looked at Jack for a moment and Jack noticed that his eyes were red. "Mark..? What's the matter? Did you have a nightmare?" Jack asked calmly again. Mark sighed and put his two fingers on the bridge of his nose, nodding. His eyes slowly faded back to their chocolate brown color and Jack pulled up a stool and sat in front of him. Mark looked at Jack and shook his head. "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that to your hand. My mind was still foggy from the nightmare..." Mark said and scratched the back of his neck. Jack shook his head and chuckled slightly. "It's fine, Mark. We all have our moments. Remember when you first came and got me for the pack? I couldn't even control myself." Jack said and started to laugh.
"Stop messin' with me, Mark!" Young Jack said as his eyes turned a bright ruby red color. Mark started to laugh, seeing how much Jack still had left to learn. "Control yourself, Jack! Your wolf instincts are taking you over right now!" Mark yelled in encouragement to the younger wolf and alpha. Jack growled at the older male and charged at him, his claws out and ready to attack. He got a good slash on Mark's face which caused the older man to stumble back and smirk. "Big mistake, Jack!"
Mark smiled and began to laugh at the memories Jack had brought up and nodded. "You're right! You're wayyyy less wreck less now." Mark had that usual dorky smile on his face that Jack always seemed to be able to put on his face. "Guess I had a good teacher, aye Mark?" The Irishman said and laughed along with the Korean man.
