It was a few days after the whole incident and Jack was fully recovered with the exception of a few scars left on his body- that was expected though. Mark had gotten all his strength back mentally and physically and was doing great. The pack members were all sitting in the living room of their cabin, speaking amongst themselves about various things. Cry and Felix were sitting next to each other, hands intertwined with one another's while Mark and Jack were doing the same on the adjacent couch. Wade, Bob, and Ken were sitting in the love seats spread across the room while they all laughed at some silly joke Felix made about Swedish people. Besides laughing, Wade and Ken were surprisingly quiet during this conversation. They looked at each other from across the room and had a certain expression on their face, like they knew something the other members didn't. Ken, clearing his throat, decided to speak up on something. "Do any of you guys uh.. smell that scent that's outside?" He asked curiously, taking a look at Wade and then everyone else to see what they had to say. Wade nodded, "I do.. it smells like blood. But not like an adult's blood or different type of monster, like a kid's.." the rest of the members looked at each other with confused expressions on their face.
"I don't smell anythin'," Jack said while sniffing the surrounding air a bit. Cry shook his head, running his hand through his hair. "Neither do I," Mark looked at the both of them and waved his hand a bit. "Why don't you two go check it out. And if you find something interesting or something you see as dangerous, just howl and we'll come to see," Mark spoke smoothly and without worry in his voice. He didn't see anything wrong, nonetheless feel like anything was wrong so this whole thing could just be harmless. Wade got up and motioned for Ken to follow him, which he did eventually and they both walked outside the cabin and looked around. "Over there, Ken. What is that?" The taller male asked, looking over at Ken. They both started to walk closer and Ken squinted, partially because he left his glasses in the cabin, partially because he was trying to focus on the object they saw in the distance. "Is that blood on the grass around it?" Ken asked Wade, since he had better vision than he did at the moment. "I think so." The two of them walked closer to find out that it was in fact someone's blood and that the object... was a child. Ken and Wade looked at each other, silently selecting each other to go and talk to him. Ken sighed as he lost the internal debate and walked forward slowly, kneeling down. "Hey there kiddo.. uhm, what're you doing out here all by yourself?" The child looked up at Ken, staying quiet for a moment. He had long and fluffy hair, glasses, and a blue shirt on with the letter G on it in a white font. There was also a blood splatter over the G which stood out the most about this small child. He seemed to be around the age of 7 or 8, but that was just an assumption. Ken scratched the back of his neck and tried to speak to him again. "What's your name, buddy?" The little boy shifted around and continued staring. "My name is Googleplier. But Mr. Wilford calls me Google for short because he said it sounds better." Wade and Ken looked at each other with very confused faces as the little boy reminded them of Mark in a way. "Who's Mr. Wilford? Is that someone taking care of you?" Wade asked, looking down at Google. The small boy nodded and looked around. "Do you know where he is? Why are you standing here by yourself?" Wade questioned again. "I don't know where Mr. Wilford is, if I did I'd be with him right now." The child's speech seemed to get sharper when Wade pushed that button of his. His facial expression had changed for a moment but then went back to the innocent little child's face. Ken noticed this and raised an eyebrow. "Okay, well.. do you wanna come with us? Maybe until 'Mr. Wilford' comes back? It's dangerous to be out here alone, kiddo." Ken suggested to him kindly and with a soft smile.
Google shook his head and took a few steps back. "I'm going to wait for Mr. Wilford right here," he said, glancing at the both of them. From the looks of it, this kid didn't like being nice to strangers. Ken got up and backed away a bit. "Alright, alright.. carry on then.." Ken said and walked away with Wade. Going to the cabin rather quickly, they looked at each other and said at the same time: "Who's kid was that?"
