The two alphas stood before their fellow pack member and watched his movements. Mark figured either way they might have to fight Cry in order to snap him out of this state but Jack's mind was in a different place. Jack pulled Mark's shoulder down a bit and started to whisper. "I wanna try and talk to him. Personally, I don't think fighting him would do any good." Jack said, Mark looked at Cry and then at Jack. "You can try. We don't know how much they've corrupted him." Mark added, his voice having a hint of concern. Jack shrugged and walked towards Cry nice and easy. "It's worth a try." He said and looked up at Cry. He was standing and looking at the ground, silent as ever. Jack cleared his throat and started to talk. "Look Cry. We know Anti and Dark messed you up really bad but Mark and I are here to help you and take you back home to the cabin." Cry looked up at Jack, his eyebrows furrowed and a growl escaping from him. "Take me home? No... This will just happen again. I don't want that!!" He yelled, taking Jack by the arm and flung him into the adjacent wall. Jack landed in it with a crack and thud as he hit the cold and hard ground. Mark's eyes widened and he looked over to Jack. "Jack!!" The Irishman moved a bit and winced, feeling a warm liquid flow down his face. "I'm good..." He said and held his hand up. Mark looked back over at Cry and couldn't help but growl at him.
"You hurt Jack! Cmon Cry, snap out of it!!" The alpha said and clenched his fists tightly. Cry shifted his cold gaze to Mark and started to walk towards him. "I told you... CRY ISN'T HERE ANYMORE!" He screamed and grabbed his shirt and looked in his eyes. Mark looked back into those ruby red eyes that had anger and frustration stuck behind them. "Cry, you are here. You're right there." Mark said calmly and put his finger on Cry's chest, right where his heart is. Cry looked at Mark's finger and then dropped him. His eyes turned from that vicious red to their regular and calming sky blue color. Mark couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief and smile, but then he looked over when he heard a groan of pain from Jack on the other side of the basement. He got up and ran to him, kneeling down. "Jack, what hurts?" He asked as he propped the smaller male up a bit and glanced at him to see if he could spot an injury. Jack winced when Mark propped him up and pointed to his head and right arm. Judging from it, Mark concluded that those two things are what hit the wall first. Cry looked over and then at his hands and took the mask off, flinging it and hearing it break. His hands started to shake and he covered his face. "Oh god..." He mumbled and felt a wave of guilt and immense pain from the injuries inflicted upon him by Anti and Dark.
Mark helped Jack up and put his arm around his shoulder as he noticed he was dizzy and not completely steady on his feet. He walked to Cry and held out his hand, smiling kindly to their pack member. Cry looked up and then looked at his own hand and then Mark's, taking it and getting up with a hiss of pain. Mark put his arm around his shoulder as well and made his way out of the back door that was in the basement. The pack heard the door and ran over, seeing the horribly hurt Cry and the injured Jack. "Cry!!" Felix yelled and looked him up and down. "Jesus, what happened?!" Cry chuckled weakly and put a hand on Felix's shoulder reassuringly. "Long story, friend." He said in that deep voice of his until it trailed off and he fell forward, Felix catching him. "He's passed out." Felix said and Bob put him on his back since he was the tallest and Cry was a pretty tall man. Mark eventually put Jack on his back so he could rest on the walk back to the cabin.
As the pack walked, Mark was telling the story of what happened in the cabin and what they initially walked into. Everyone put their input in every now and then, Felix mostly since he cared deeply about Cry. Jack fell asleep on Mark's back as they had ways to go back to the cabin. "The plan for when we get back is to get Cry and Jack taken care of and then we can all rest up for the next couple of days." Mark said and looked at the rest of the pack. Bob looked over. "I'll take care of these two when we get back. Even though Cry is usually the doctor, I know a thing or two about medicine as well." The rest nodded and gave a thumbs up of approval. "Sounds like a plan." Mark, Felix, Wade, and Ken said all together and smiled, laughing afterwards. "Listen guys, after tonight it opened my eyes a bit on how close friends truly mean a lot to people. I plan to keep it this way within the pack and have tons of kindness and equality throughout it. You guys are truly the best pack an alpha could ever ask for and I'm grateful, truly." Mark said and smiled at all of them. The rest of the pack smiled back and were peaceful on the rest of the wall back to the cabin.
