Chapter Two - Fighting for my Life is Harder than it Sounds

"Miku" A voice whispered.

  I awoke in complete darkness. Am I dead? I thought.

  "Congratulations Miku for figuring it out. Now I have to show you something before we get down to the... you'll see."

  My vision went blank. A few moments later I was standing in a hospital. "Is that me?" I asked, seeing a young girl with turquoise hair lying in a bed, with a million drips in her arms.

  "Yes it is. Now you see, you were hit by a car. Your body is critically damaged. Now, If you go back, you may not be able to walk ever again, but I'll let you talk. You'll just need to learn again. And you might have slight memory loss."

  "How do I get ba---"

  And I was interrupted. Kaito came in, his face pale, his eyes red from crying. He was followed by Neru, trying to be strong as always. Rin and Len came in. Rin was crying on her brothers shoulder, and Len looked like he'd been dragged through a bush backwards.

  I closed my eyes, trying to block out the scene.

  "How do I get back." I whispered.

  "Ah now you see... you need to fight."

  "Who do I need to fight" I squeaked. I could hear Kaito wailing loudly.

  "Someone"

  I opened my eyes. "Bring it on"

  "Ok then!" The voice said. My vision went blank once again.

  I was surrounded by flames. I looked up.

  A woman was there. Short brown hair and eyes. Red miniskirt and crop-top. And she stared at me.

  "Hey there. Ready? Too bad." the woman said. I lifted my foot to go towards her, but in the time it took for me to do that, she had ran towards me and grabbed my throat. She pinned me to the ground. I choked. I kicked her hard in the ribs, I heard a crack, but she only smiled.

  "It's going to take a lot more than that" she smiled, and took one of her nails and held it to my throat. I felt a warm liquid starting to drip down my neck.

  I pushed her away with my foot, I rolled over, stood up, remembered I wasn't human anymore. And I ran towards her, full speed, and she moved out of the way. I fell into the flames.

  "Good fight. But not good enough." And she disappeared.
