Chapter 10 - We all have our secrets (Part Two)

KAITOS POV

About twenty minutes later I received a text from Neru. I walked outside to read it.

"Did you know?" It read. What did I know?

"What?" I replied.

"How can you not notice?" she replied.

"Neru, what the heck are you on about?"

At that moment, a doctor came over to speak with me.

"Sir, I hope it isn't too awkward for me to tell you this, but we've noticed something..." he said.

"What?" I asked.

"We've noticed that she hasn't had her period these last two months."

I looked at him. This was a bit awkward, but I suppose someone had to know. "So..." I said.

"We've taken some urine samples, the results should come back at about lunch." The doctor told me.

It hit me what he was saying, what Neru was asking if I knew. I started panicking, there was no way I'm letting her go now.

MIKUS POV

After rehearsal I had went back to my pad and fallen asleep. Of course I didn't need to but, I just wanted to keep a normal life. Well... A normal death...

When I woke up I went back to that screen and selected "Visit", and I got teleported to the hospital room. Kaito was there, and I was really starting to show... How long until he knew?

"Miku Hatsune" I said, and materialised. I opposite to Kaito and took my other hand.

"I came back, as I promised" I said to Kaito.

Kaito looked at me. "Miku, its been over a fortnight..." he whispered.

I looked at him, confused. "No its not... Its only been 24 hours..."

Kaito just looked at me. "Time differences I suppose..."

I giggled and looked at my face. Sweat beads were forming on my head.

"How long did you know?" he asked.

"About what?"

"They've taken urine samples, the results are coming back in ten minutes." he told me.

"Oh... I'm so sorry Kaito... I was going to tell you when we got back to your house..." I whispered, a tear starting to fall down my cheek.

A doctor came through and looked at Kaito. "The results have came back. Your girlfriend, Hatsune Miku..."

Kaito took in a deep breath.

"Is pregnant."

The colour drained from Kaito's face, and he looked at me. I mean, the me in the bed... Gosh this is getting confusing.

The doctor left the room, and Kaito looked at me. He started shaking. I thought that he was going to pass out.

I ran over to his side of the bed and put my hand on his forehead. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before, I thought that the crash would of caused me to miscarry." I whispered. I started crying with Kaito, because we both knew that now, there was a even slimmer chance for me to recover.

"Time up." The female voice said into my headset. It sounds like Haku.

"Bye Kaito, take care, I'll visit again soon." And with that, I was teleported back to my sector. I walked outside, and lay down on the grass, and eventually falling asleep.

SEEUS POV

I lay down on my bed. The only thing that I ever do in this pitch-black eternity. I want to be able to see. I want to be able to press that visit button and see my child. A beautiful girl. Those were my last words. "A beautiful girl".

That's why I wore Neko (cat) ears. To remind me of her. So I wouldn't forget. It's very easy to forget. I even forgot my boyfriends name, but I will never forget his smile.

I tell myself stories in my head, that one day everything will change and I will be able to see.

But no-one can change the direction the wheel turns.

OMG PLOT TWISTz....

Thinking about somehow fitting in a bit of MikuxDell... But I'm not sure how I'm going to do that... Meh I'll figure something out :)
