Chapter 18 - Christmas Eve (Part III)

Before I write this, I just want you to know that I wasn't planning on updating this. I just need to relax, because well... Yesterday I was looking through some Midis on Bing, clicked on this website and within a few seconds I was redirected to a page that was an exact replica of the Metropolitan Police Virus (Ransomware). I clicked the exit button and it cane up with "YOUR BROWSER HAS BEEN BLOCKED. YOUR FILES ARE ENCRYPTED." So, without leaving the browser I restarted my laptop. Its going really slow, but what's important is that NONE of my files have been encrypted, I don't think, and the screen hasn't popped up again. I haven't been on my browser however, but I'm going to install Firefox.

Oh yeah, that was like four o'clock yesterday when I started a virus scan... And uhh... Its 11am the next day and its only scanned 800k items... I know I have over 1 mil files on my computer from messing with UTAU and stuff... But seriously? On the wee timer it says that its been running for 18 hours. When it only usually takes four... ANYWAYS ON WITH THE STORY!

Lil update (6hours later): The scan finished :) No viruses detected, but yeah... I am still going to use my phone for most things (95% of the updates I do on wattpad are on my phone).

KAITOS POV (before Neru entered)

"I LOVE YOU MEIKO" I screamed at her, "BUT I LOVE MIKU MORE! OK!"

Meiko was shaking, small tears coming down her face. "B-but ka---"

"NO! GET OUT!"

MEIKOS POV

I hate this realm. If you stay here too long, like I have by this point, you really do start to feel emotions.

Right now Kaito, my Kaito, was yelling at me.

"B-but Ka---" I started, before I was cut off.

"NO! GET OUT" he yelled in my face. I turned around and walked away.

"I'm pregnant Kaito" I whispered, those words disappearing into the stale, hospital air.

I ran outside, and yelled in a way that only the voyakloids would hear.

"I'M DONE! YOU HEAR ME! I'M SICK OF THIS REALM!"

No reply. The street was silent, too silent. I heard quick footsteps coming out of the hospital.

And a sharp object pierce my skin, making a hole in my lungs.

So this was the way my journey was to end.

Murdered by a girl in gold.

MIKU'S POV (present)

Neru breathed heavily, her eyes wild. She put the scalpel down on the table next to me, and took another one from her handbag.

"No... One... Ever... Cheats... On... Mi---" she said, walking towards Kaito, then she passed out. Kaito, being the one able to move, checked her pulse. I tapped the button on my bed, hoping it would call someone. Within a few moments a Nurse arrived. I pointed to Neru, who Kaitohad put into the recovery position before returning to his bed.

The nurse looked at her concerned, and then she noticed the scalpel on my table. She picked it up carefully, and took it outside, where a bunch of doctors were talking. They put it into a plastic bag, and the nurse returned, this time noticing the clean blade that Neru still had in her grasp. She called in another doctor, who helped put Neru onto the bed next to Kaito, and ease the scalpel from her hand. Just then, outside the door, a horde of doctors and nurses went by, pushing a trolley. On that trolley, was Meiko. I looked at Kaito, who gasped, putting two and two together.

Neru had attempted to murder Meiko.
