KAITO'S POV

After half of the room had teleported to who knows where, I jumped off the stage and sat next to Miku, who was chatting to a Vocaloid I didn't recognise. The-one-who-I-had-no-name-for pointed at me. Miku turned around, and instantly looked away.

"What's wrong Miku-san?" The-one-who-I-had-no-name-for asked Miku.

"You know that guy who I was talking about?"

"Kaito?"

"That's him."

I just sat there, until The-one-who-I-had-no-name-for teleported off. Then I tapped Miku's shoulder, making her turn around, avoiding eye contact with me.

"What is it Kaito?" She asked, her voice monotone.

"I..." A lump formed in my throat. "I just wanted to say that I'm sor..."

Miku put her hand up. "No, Kaito. I remembered what Dell said to me. When you... die... you need to fight someone. Your worst nightmare. Mine was you cheating on me... and that's what happened. I forgot."

"Miku..." I said, unsure how to respond. "I miss you."

"I need you" Miku whispered.

"I lo..." And I started burning for what seemed like hours. When I opened my eyes, I was in a hospital bed. The one next to Miku.

MIKU's POV (A/N anyone catch the reference back there?)

"I lo..." Kaito started, and then he burned into little ashes, which disappeared after a few seconds.

I got up and teleported into my "home" I guess you could call it. I went to the fridge and grabbed a negi (leek), gnawing on it. Negi was my comfort food, it made everything better.

~2 hourz o' eating leekz l8r~

I was just about to go up to my room when I heard a crash coming from the living room. I quickly ran down there, grabbing the first thing I could find. A framed picture of Kaito I think. I didn't look at it for any longer than a millisecond. When I eventually went into the living room Dell was sleeping on my sofa. I quickly went into the kitchen that is right next door to the living room, filled up a glass with water, and poured it on Dell's face.

Dell spluttered for a few seconds before he came to. "Miku, I need to talk to you about something."

I raised my eyebrows and sat down to the soaking wet mess. "What?"

"Have you been getting any burning sensations lately?" He asked.

How did he know? "Yeah."

"Very interesting..." He said, sounding like some sort of scientist. "Is your body on life support?"

I nodded, before adding "It sometimes makes things a little bit harder for me, and I have all these human habits like sleeping and needing to eat..."

Dell stopped me. "Ok. I think I may have an explanation for all that." He paused for a second. "You may have a chance of being alive again. Your brain is... was dead. That burning sensation? That's you going to and from the physical world. It's unpleasant to say the least, I used to get it after I died... Before my girlfriend turned off the life support."

I sat for a few moments, letting this sink in. "Who was your girlfriend?" I blurted out. Dang, I say the stupidest things sometimes.

"I can't remember her name, but she was about 15 when I died. She had a twin brother. Blue eyes and blonde hair. She always wore a bow in her hair."

I gasped. "Rin?! She was so broken after she left. And that guy you had to fight? She never let him get to her. She still visits your grave every sunday."

Dells head snapped up. "Rin." He whispered, a small tear forming in the corner of his eye. I put my arm around him, and let him cry.

A/N

Oh gawd that chapter sucked. Sorry! I'll try and fit in Rin's POV sometime :)
