Here comes Wentworth shit wuddup

Arabella's P.O.V

I woke up and yawned, taking a glance at the clock. When I realized it was already 10 in the morning my eyes widened and I remembered today I was supposed to be at the bookstore at 10. Shit and it was already ten.

I pushed the sheets away and ran to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth.

Last week I planned for an interview in the bookstore to get a proper job as long as I needed money for my college. My parents told me that they could pay for my college and everything but I told them that I wanted to be independent. Fuck now I regret it I should've just let them pay for the damn thing.

I put on my clothes in a hurry and grabbed my wrist watch, glancing at the time every once in a while.

After pouring the milk in the bowl and adding the cornflakes, I ate my breakfast and wrote a note for Sophia saying that I will come back soon.

I put the note on a noticeable spot and grabbed the keys to my car and left. 2 months ago Nick bought a car for me and Soph so that we could use it if we needed. I always appreciated the support our friends gave us after Liam left.

When I got in the car it was quarter past ten and I pushed on the pedal to the metal.

When I arrived I rushed in and everyone's attention turned to me. I suddenly realized I was in the library and whispered a 'sorry' and carefully walked to the librarian, not making any noise.

Mrs. Watson, the librarian, was standing behind the counter as usual with her glasses on reading a book. The smell of the books reminded me of the days I came here after school reading books or listening to music. When her eyes met mine she smiled widely.

"Oh hello sweetie. How are you?" She sweetly asked and I smiled back taking a step towards her.

"I'm good thanks. How's the store going?" I glanced at the quiet people and then back at her.

"Nothing special. We missed you."

"I missed you too. That's why I'm here. I had an interview for the job. Remember? I wanted to work in here." Her eyebrows shot up when she remembered. Mrs. Watson was a sweet old woman and her husband owned this place. They were so good to me I respected them like my family.

"Ahh yes. Okay Mark is waiting for you in the office." I nodded my head and made my way to the office.

I nervously knocked on the door and after hearing a 'come in' I entered and saw Mr. Watson sitting behind the desk and concentrating on a piece of paper.

He looked up and smiled warmly. "Oh hey Arabella. A little late, Aren't you?" He smiled not wanting to embarrass me.

"I'm really sorry Mr. Watson, the alarm clock didn't go off in the morning. Just bad luck. But I promise it won't happen again."

He nodded his head in understanding and gestured for me to sit. I took a seat and put my phone in my bag, waiting for him to start.

"So since I've known you for a long time and I know you're a brilliant girl, I'm not gonna ask much. Just some things about the time and stuff." I nodded and a wave of relief pushed my stress away.

"Okay. You know that the bookstore opens at eight a.m. and closes at nine p.m. And there are two shifts which the afternoon one is available for you. And the bookstore only works on the weekdays. I hope your schedule is okay with our timetable."

I was surprised that he didn't ask me any questions and gave me the job. I thought for a moment, remembering my college and also visiting hours to prison and when I saw there was no problem, I smiled and started talking.
