Harry's pov

I crossed the street, eyeing every car that passed me and walked in the sidewalk before kneeling in front of the old man.

"Here. Sandwich and water. And there's also some fruit there if you wanted." I handed him the plastic bag, showing him everything essential. He was grinning from ear to ear.

"Thank you so much son, thank you. God bless you." He couldn't take his eyes away from the food.

Finally he looked me in the eye.
"My son, You're a very good human being. This world needs more people like you. Thank you." I nodded my head at him before standing up again and leaving him to be, continuing my walk.

I didn't have anything to do so I left it to my own legs to take me wherever they wanted. But I tried to avoid the busy places as much as I could for the sake of my ears.

I found myself speeding up a little as familiar signs came to my view. I could tell I was getting closer to Niall's place and I didn't really mind giving him a quick visit.

"Hey man, haven't seen you in a long time." I heard someone shout from the other side of the deserted street, turning around I realized it was Niall's friend. I raised my hand giving him a quick wave before turning into the alley.

This place. Nothing like the city. It was all quiet and peaceful. Just how I liked.

Kicking the stones under my feet with my hands in the pockets of my jeans I arrived at the end of the alley. I knocked on the old wooden door in a rhythmic secret way and waited for him to open.

The door creaked open, revealing a smiling Niall. "Oh Harry, I was just about to call you." I gave him a hug with one hand before stepping into the place. It was a derelict building, half demolished with a yard in front of it. I eyed everything, nothing seeming new or out of place. There were a couple of people in one of the rooms but I minded my own business, trying to go unnoticed as I walked up the stairs at the corner of the place.

One of the rooms of the second floor lacked a wall and I wandered there before sitting at the edge of it, with my legs hanging from the floor. It was breezy outside and my nose was a little red from the weather.

With my feet still down, I laid my upper body on the floor and locked my hands together putting them on my forehead. I could hear laughter coming from downstairs. Some belonged to girls and some to boys. I could clearly hear what they were saying but I zoned out the sounds not wanting to sneakily hear their conversation. I came here just for a little peace of mind.

Then the sound of footsteps getting closer to me caught my attention and I noticed Niall walking up to me, before sitting down beside me in the same position.

"Go take care of your friends. I'm all good up here by my own."

"Nah man, they're busy conversing."

I hummed in response before he ruffled my hair like a dog, putting up his legs in front of him and holding onto them.

"So what brought you here?"
