Annabeth Chase

"Piper!" I cried, holding on to the railing.

Seeing your best friend plummet to her death, was not fun. Piper was one of the people who were there when Percy was gone, even though she did not use her Charmspeak to comfort me, her voice was still powerful. No. Not powerful. Her voice was full of hope, it encouraged me and made me feel better, it made me want to agree to everything she said, but there was no Charmspeak. It was her natural voice. She is my best friend, and it pained me seeing this.

I was about to jump for it, not the most accurate thing to do, and the most insane thins to do. Well, I wasn't very sane this past few weeks.

Then Frank, who shape-shifted held me back, and he zoomed to Piper's direction.

I turned around just in time to see Leo and Jason smirking.

"Do not worry yourself, daughter of Athena-" Leo said in a voice that seemed to be two voices at once.

"We, Eidolons, will not be bothering you for a long time" Jason continued, with the same voice.

I glared at them and cried, "Why now?"

They both pointed over the deck "Vengeance." They said, "for that Aphrodite scum's worthless Charmspeak"

I felt my ears getting warm with anger. I charged at them, when I was a few feet away from their bodies they crumpled.

I stomped in frustration "Get off of our ship!" I sobbed.

They both fell, with Leo on his face and his butt hanging.

Hazel and Nico came to both of their aid. They checked their eyes and they nodded towards my direction.

I wiped away my tears. I couldn't afford looking weak. These past few weeks, I haven't been the daughter of Athena. Now for the sake of Piper and Percy.

Jason groaned, "Uh...ugh." He glanced around and looked at Leo "Leo?"

I turned my back on them and ran up to the railing just in time to see Frank the Dolphin with Piper on his back.

"Jason," Nico said. "Lie down for a-"

"P-Piper?" I can feel Nico's eyes on my back, asking for assistance. But I didn't look back.

I heard rustling noises, "Jason, don't stand up-" Hazel tried to reason

"Piper!" Jason called out "Piper, where are you?!"

I felt him wobbling in my direction and in a few seconds he was beside me.

Then the next thing I knew, he jumped, I didn't even have time to pull him back, he controlled the winds and took Piper off of Franks back. Jason struggled to fly towards the ship. Frank did a summersault and changed into an eagle supporting Jason.

Jason Grace

Guilt. Rage. Heartbroken. Three things that I felt at the moment.

Guilt of letting myself be possessed by a stupid cheese eyed demon, for letting myself blow my girlfriend off of a ship 100 feet below, for almost crushing my best friend in pieces.

Heartbroken. My heart felt sliced, blended, and crushed in meat grinder a million times. Seeing her lifeless.

Rage. I'm angry at myself.

I guess this is how Annabeth felt When she thought Percy was dead. I guess this is how she felt holding her boyfriend's body empty and lifeless. I guess this is how she feels knowing that Percy is somewhere around the earth struggling, maybe injured, to go home.

I caressed her face. She was doused with salt water from the ocean. Her hands steamed, with blisters. Her eyes was closed, she looked stunning, except from the fact that she wasn't breathing.

I felt the presence of the crew around us. Annabeth planted a shaking hand on my shoulder as she sobbed, Hazel hugged a nauseous Leo while Frank was behind Hazel.

Nico ran up with some Nectar and Ambrosia, she sprinkled crushed ambrosia on Piper's slightly opened lips, and drops of Nectar.

We waited. Silence. Hot tears streaming down my face. Hearing the hushed voice of Hazel comforting Leo, the sniffs and sobs of the crew.

I hugged her, "Piper..." I sobbed "please please please"

I looked at Nico across me with pleading eyes. He looked away and shook his head.

I felt the wind getting louder and stronger, the clouds getting dimmer above us, the warm breeze became cold. The ship lurched, trying to maintain it's balance. Festus creaked.

I screamed at the heavens as lightning and thunder struck above us.

"Jason, I'm so-" Nico said.

"No! She's not- she's not dead!"

"Jason.." Frank tried to say

I snapped at Frank "No!"

"Piper..." My voice shaking "You are..you're stronger than this okay?"

"Please" I pleaded. "Aphrodite. Zeus. Hades. I beg you.." I prayed "Don't take her away from me.."

And then she coughed.

Piper: You are evil.

Hazel: how heartbreaking!

Percy: Man, I wish I was there.

Annabeth: *sobs*

Leo: phew. Glad she's alive.

Piper: you know, I was thinking about burning you, but I remembered you're immune to fire.

Jason: I'll help!

Piper: NO.

Piper: NICO!

Nico: MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sorry. Took me long to update.
