Unexpected

CHAPTER 21

***2 weeks later***

~Ella's P.O.V.~

Today is the day. My first look at the baby. I'm nervous, I wish my mom could be there but unfortunately she's always working long hours night and day. Elena agreed to go with me, she picked me up a few minutes ago, so we are heading down to Mercy Hospital. I feel my palms starting to sweats, as if on que Elena reaches over and grabs hold on my hand and squeezes it.

"You okay over there? Haha you look like your gona faint" she glances over

"Y-yeah I'm just nervous, I don't know what to expect" I smile gently unsure of how I really feel deep down inside. Is she healthy? Is it even a girl? How big is it? Is anything even really in there? My mind was racing with questions.

Elena pulled up to the hospital, and let me out.

"I'm gona park, wait for me here" she said before she drove off to the underground parking.

I walked over to the metal benches they had posted just outside the entrance and sat down

"Aww isn't she a little sweetheart"

I look up to see a nurse strolling a mother and her newborn daughter out to their car, as the father, Im assuming starts to assemble the car seat into the back seat. They look so happy, it makes my heart ache, I feel tears beginning to form. I sigh

"Ready?" Elena says out of nowhere, causing me to jump.

"Oh shit!... Yes..I am.... I think?" I look at her

"Come on dude, you got this, I'm here for you" she hugs me

We make our way down to the Dr's office, when we get there we are greeted by the receptionist and an empty waiting room. Oh thank goodness!

"Hi how can I help you ladies?"

"Hi ... Um I'm here to see Dr. Coleman, I had a 3pm appointment for an ultrasound, my name is Ella"

"Oh yes, I have you here, okay you can go ahead and have a seat, she will be right out"

"Thank you"

Just as we are making our way to our seats I hear my full name being called causing Elena to giggle.

"Eliana Collins"

"Shut up" I whisper as we both stand and follow the nurse to exam room 5, she gets us settled in and I, changed, until the doctor comes in.

"I haven't heard your full name in a long time" she laughs

"I know it almost sounds weir-"

"Hi Eliana, I'm Dr. Coleman" a slightly tall, blond, and heavy set woman says as she holds her hand out waiting for a response

"Hi, you can call me Ella" I say as I shake her hand

"Ah nice to meet you, and are you thee partner ?" She says looking over to Elena

"Oh girl n-" Elena begins but I cut her off

"Yes" I smile looking at Dr.Coleman, and hold my hand out to Elena, who squeezes the crap out of it and glares at me. Oh well, I don't want to mention Damian's name or acknowledged that he's the father.

"Okay shall we get started then?" Dr. Coleman laughs "kinda young aren't you both?". She says bringing the monitor closer to her
