Unexpected

Chapter 12

*2 weeks later*

~Ella's P.O.V.~

Ugh for the last 3 weeks I've been feeling like crap, lightheaded, nauseas, dry mouth, runny nose, the works, but I still managed to get up and haul my ass to school, Elena and I have grown much closer than ever before since the very last incident. I'm thankful, I honestly don't know how I could have gotten through all of this without her and her prayers.

Today when I got to school Iwas in no shape to be even be there,anyways I met up with Elena, who was grumbling about how she hated getting her period to our other friends. Which suddenly reminded me, when was the last I got mine? Damn I knew I should've kept track like mom said so. Ahh its probably just acting up with all the stress I thought, as I sniffled my way to class,the thought of periods made my stomach turn,I shuttered in disgust, as I walked into class my head started pounding really bad,I felt weaker by the second, I struggled to walk to my desk, it look doubled,everything seemed blurry and hazy. Someone grabbed my shoulder

"H-hey?you okay?" It sounded like he was yelling at me from distance,I began to panic when I saw the floor getting closer to my face . Then everything blacked out

*the next day*

I awoke to this beeping sound,like the one people wake up to when there in the hospital,I slowly opened my eyes and sure enough to my left was a heart rate monitor. Great what the fuck happened now,I looked all over my body to see ivs and other wires running all across me. Elena jumped up

"Ella!" She sounded worried, Damian was next to her,he stood too and walked over.

"What happened?"

"You passed out in Ms. Tolentino's class,and whacked your head on one of the tables when you were going down,they stitched your head,don't worry its only four stitches" she smiled a bit,but seemed nervous

"Thats all?when can I go home? I don't like hospitals, I want to leave" I started to take out the iv which hurt like hell,then my heart rate monitor started beeping faster, Elena pushed me back down

"Ella wait!theres something's....something else you need to know"

"What is it?" I looked at her

Damian put his head down

"What, what wrong?" I started to get scared. What's wrong with me? Am I sick? What's happened? Is my mom okay? How long have I been in here?"

Elena sat next to me and grabbed hold of my hand.

"Ella honey, the doctors had to run a few tests, they found out you're anemic, that's probably most likely why you passed out, but also, sweetheart..." She looks down at my hands and then back up at me, looking me dead in the eye without blinking " You're pregnant"
