Grandma did get furious in the morning when she got to know that I had reached home very late the previous night,but who could resist my pleading baby eyes which I used everytime to get me out of trouble.I managed to make her forget her anger and she even prepared delicious pancakes for me.I enjoyed breakfast or maybe I should say lunch because I got up at noon but there was also a question that was bothering me,that would cause my stomach to strangely twirl whenever my mind would drift to it;will I have to return to the territory again?
The worst thing about holidays is boredom!Especially when you don't have a phone.I did have my laptop but I was too lazy to take it out of my bag!Moreover I was sure the battery was dead.
So I sat on my bed and watched the chicks walked on each other outside the windows!Then a cow joined them but they soon ran away.
Suddenly I heard the whisper of a snake!
Wait! Were there snakes here!?But I had never heard any such whisper.
They persisted on but as I feared them,I did not want to look at the snake.The whispers were coming from the left.
I focused all my attention on the cow who was chewing grass when I heard the whisper forming my name!I frowned.
Finally I managed to turn to the direction and saw Luke hiding behing the grass!My eyes widened and my heart,well it started to beat faster as usual!
It was of course no snake unless you would like to compare Luke to a snake;a venomous one.
My eyes widened when he gestured for me to join him.
"Are you mad? I can't come down now! Grandma is at home!" I whisper-yelled at him from the window but he just rolled his eyes.
"Tell_her_you_are_going_for_a_walk."He formed with his mouth.
"Okay!Wait!"
I quickly donned a pair of blue jeans and a light black vest and climbed down.
"Gran I am going for a walk!" I shouted as I made my way out.I heard her tell me not to be late.
"What do you want?" I asked to Luke as I approached him.
"Why you didn't come to the territory today?Kara sent me here to see if you were sick or if something else happened."
"I thought that I won't be needed anymore!" I was surprised."Afterall,the mission is over,right?"
"Well you see princess,Diego was so pleased with our work that that motherf*cker thought why not employ them."He seemed pissed off."Afterall,if they refuse,I can just shoot them and nobody will know or care!"
"Hey,my grandma would mind!She would sue him and made sure he's behind bars for murder."
Luke smirked carelessly.
"Let's get going.There are people here who really wish to see me dead!"
I raised my left eyebrow at his statement and then began walking by his side.
I wanted to lash out at him for his words yesterday.I really wanted him to give me an appropriate reason as to why he called me a bitch but then I gave up.
I took a deep breath and then exhaled deeply.I thought I would let bygones be bygones!
