Chapter 10: War of Horrors:

Without a moment too soon the spies contacted Jason. "Area's been secured hehe." Said one of the spies "We knocked out some of the guards, won't be long till they bring more." "Ok, we're on our way!" Jason said. "They sound kind of weird, weirder then they usually do. Oh well." As soon as that was done, Jason directed everyone. One team goes left, the other goes right. "Us three will split up and go with each group." The three agreed and before they knew it they were all in their starting positions. "Ok ... uhhh, Hi guys." Billy said. The group of Regainers roared a hello back at him. "Uh, ok so um, this is the first time I'm leading an attack. So let's go and not die. Dying is a no go from this point on., unless you're forced to. So uh yea we're on our way to Orvil's citadel, show no mercy guys. Good luck and give em' hell!" They all chanted; surprisingly Billy's speech meant something, that and of course, he was the hero, the hero always wins. Billy laughed "I just hope we don't die. Mom, pop, don't you worry, I'll be coming home soon. If I'm late, sorry, you'll have to wait." Billy laughed some more at his conversation with his parents. "I can't hear you guys, but I know you're counting on me to get the job done. Lord keep us alive, keep me alive, and please, watch over Rebecca. If either one of us dies please just kill the other, I don't want to live without her by my side, I know she would think the same." Billy prayed until they got into position. "...I don't want to live without him by my side; I know he would think the same." Rebecca prayed the same thing as well.  

Within minutes, both of their communicators went off and it was Jason contacting them. "Alright, you guys in position? We're going to storm the city and meet in the center. Whoever is left we'll storm the citadel and take down Orvil once and for all. No turning back, we finish this now. I didn't spend ten years training for nothing." Ready or not here comes the hot action, before Jason could finish, gunshots were herd and the three were immediately thrown into battle. 

It was almost if time was slowed down for Billy, as he slowly watched as Regainer after Regainer was gunned down by Orvil's troops. Watching each one fall, Regainers, Guards, S.M.A.R.T. bots; they were all dropping like flies and Billy looked as he saw the bloody pile-up. Watching them limp with such bravery. He could her nothing but his heart beating, thumping at every death he saw which was what he saw in every given second. "WATCH OUT!" A Regainer tackled Billy and they both fell into a ditch. "Look alive soldier, things are tight, my family is with the other squad. If I don't come back.... Take care of th-"He was interrupted by a bot that gunned him down right in front of Billy's eyes. Billy sprang up and dodged the string of bullets shot by the robot; Billy jumped and did a barrel roll. He pulled out Crimsons gun and shot the robot. The bullet pierced the robot's tough armor and within seconds it fell to the ground. "Dang, this gun is strong. No time for baffling, gotta keep moving!" Billy got out of the ditch only to find explosions erupting in front of him, Regainers using rocket launchers, S/M.A.R.T. bots suing their lasers; Billy ran forward jumping and stumbling on the debris and countless bodies, explosions ringing in his ears as if bells have been placed right next to his ears. "The hero! He has the right idea! Follow Billy!" The Regainers shouted as they barreled through the countless guards and bots, gunning everything down in their path. Billy came up to a giant door and noticed a Gooey Bomb near-by so he threw it onto the door and detonated it opening the way to the main plaza. They were now in the rich part of the city, almost there. Billy was wondering how Rebecca and Jason were doing.  

Jason shot the lasers from his suit and blasted the outer walls of the city and stormed in uppercutting and gunning down any who would oppose him. "GO, GO, GO! LET'S MOVE! SHOW NO MERCY! BLASTING TIME!" Jason shouted to his squad of Regainers. Jason lead the group as a shower of bullets rained down on his suit. "Auxiliary power activated. " The suit said in it's mechanical voice. "Automatic combustible lasers activated. " Within seconds Jason fired his lasers and all that remained in front of him was a curtain of fire and scorched bodies. He lit a cigar and punched the door into the rich part of Vilfor and regrouped with Billy 

Rebecca scaled the wall and placed a Gooey Bomb and blew it up. "I'm coming for you old man." Rebecca said as the storm of Regainers ran past her, she ran fast like a tiger doing flips and cartwheels almost as fast as lighting. She jumped behind guards and snapped their necks. She bombed bot after bot and she couldn't help but think, "I hope Billy's all right. Lord please keep him alive." She bombed the main doors but suddenly she was struck in the head and passed out. "Let's see how much of a Hero Billy really is." Oliver said as he grabbed Rebecca and ran before any Regainers could stop him, he shot his flame thrower and burned any who tried to get in his way. Soon enough everyone was gathered in the main plaza. "Wait, wait, wheres Rebecca?!" Billy shouted. Just then a giant monitor came down and it showed them all non other than Oliver Orvil himself. "Ah Billy, how nice of you pay us a visit." Orvil said. "ORVIL!" Billy and Jason shouted. "My apologies." Orvil said. "I forgot to install the friendly feature on my robots. I must say, I'm happy to see you here; you saved me the trouble of hunting you down. Since you're here why don't I show you some hospitality? My forces aren't too good with that." "Why don't you make it easy and come down here so I can kick your butt!" Billy said with a fist forming. "Hmmm, that requires too much effort, instead, why don't you come up here. After all, you want to save HER don't you?" Just then Orvil pulled Rebecca into view tied up. "REBECCA! LET HER GO! I SWEAR I'LL PERSONALLY GO UP THERE AND PUT A BULLET IN YOUR HEAD YOU FREAK!" Billy rage broke out and he threw a rock at the screen. Orvil made a smirk "So, you value her very much ey? Better be fast if you want to see her alive boy. Her clock is ticking." The screen turned off. Jason looked at Billy, He felt sorry for him, but he can't get sympathetic now, "There's no time to waste, we all have a bone to pick with him, crying won't work here, c'mon, it's high time we put the dog on his leash." Billy nodded and got up. It was time to storm the citadel. Time was ticking; Rebecca's life was on Billy and Jason's shoulders. 

"Look at those ants." Orvil said to Rebecca as he looked out the window. "How funny that these fools want freedom, nothing is free. You always have to pay, these poor pathetic fools will pay with their lives." Oliver went to Rebecca's face and she spat on him. "You'll see, Billy will destroy you. You messed with the wrong guy Orvil." Rebecca said with her soul piercing eyes "Spare my ears women, you're his weakness. I think it would be more fitting to have him watch me kill you. It'll kill him and then nothing will stand in my way. Not you, not Jason, not anyone!" Orvil looked down at the burning capital. "My people were fools to betray me. No remorse, they would rather risk their lives to see me dead. Really though, their just asking to die, what an honor that I'll get to personally kill them myself." Orvil laughed a mechanical laugh. The shadowy figure approached the two. "They'll be here shortly, I'm sure you'll handle this." He said. "Pshh, me and Vector will slay them all. Their crimes did this to them. Always doing things the hard way. Damn Regainers. I'll slay them all, all of them, even their pathetic leader. Jason Gray, looks like you'll finally join your family in Hell." They both laughed, "Billy, please hurry, you have to, I know you can do it." Rebecca thought to herself as a tear started down her cheek. "Wait I know you!" Rebecca shouted at the shadowy figure. "You're him! You're that guy! The one who-..." Orvil knocked her out again. "Don't want to spoil the story for the audience little brat." The figure said with an evil smirk. Explosion after explosion rang through both their ears. Orvil made his mechanical laugh and lit a cigar. "Time to play the waiting game." Orvil said with a smirk. "Lets see how much your stupid gun is worth boy."
