Chapter 1: Fishy Dreams:

"How can I start this, where should I start this?" These words went through my head as I began to write. The victory was clenched and the light of salvation rose over the horizon, it felt good upon my skin; warm, soothing, pleasant. Though life was ending on a positive note the horrors of the past still haunt me. My name is Billy Frasier and what I have just survived may have you leaving in shock or perhaps inspiration to fight for a greater good. This is a tale of might and determination only shown in the greatest of warriors like the ones you see in fairy tales or folk lore. So many people died, so many lives ended before my eyes and for what purpose, for power, for fame, for love? Power is a sickening thing that is passed on by corruption. Corruption is given to those who seek evil; their hearts are blackened by the darkness that dwells within them. All was normal though, but the drastic escalation of events has changed all of that. I am but a mere child, no more than 17, I live in Michigan; or at least that's what it was called before. I'm a brilliant writer in most people's eyes although this story is hard to write. You ever get that feeling, that feeling where the one you love is gone? Vanished? Perhaps killed? I'm certain that's what's keeping me back; even now the tears are hitting the paper. What is the story you may ask, what is this tale that I keep hesitating to tell? Well I guess the best thing to do is start from the beginning, most stories start that way no?

"Billy it's time for dinner, get it before it gets cold!" My mother's words rang through my ears as the evening sky was starting to set. Homework was tough tonight, looks like the teachers at North Lake High School where finally giving me a challenge, and just when the year was almost over. "The new president of the United States has been elected...." It seemed like the news would always talk about that every time I pass the living room. Sure there is a new president every four years, maybe the same guy wins and we get four more years of him this time. Little did I know it's already been eight years and the same president was getting elected. "Ha, looks like you finally came out of your cave Billy; I was beginning to think that you wouldn't show up." Mother said. "Well, you know me mom, I'm quite the slacker" Billy chuckled, "You coming dad?" "Hold your horses kiddo, a real man takes his time" Papa Frasier made his way to the dinning room at a slow pace assuming that there would be a lot of food still on the table for him.

"This is the first in American history, the first president to serve four more years." Billy and his family overheard the news. "I'm getting word that the president will be serving eight more years rather than four". "How crazy" said Papa Frasier "This man has gone insane, no justice, where's everyone else's turn?" While Mama Frasier calmed the raging bull, Billy went to his room to continue writing, unaware that an evil force is watching him and everyone else in his fated country. Billy said his prayers and went to sleep assuming that his father's rage will calm and the questions will blow over by the time the next day comes. He was right, it did blow over but what replaced it though was something worse, something that no one would expect, something that would change Billy' life forever.

Suddenly, Billy woke up in the middle of the night, he looked around confused and had a scared look on his face.

"That's strange, I thought I heard someone call my name, I've been having strange dreams lately." Billy said to himself, "As if God is trying to tell me something or a being from another dimension-" Billy paused and took in what he just said, "...a being from another dimension, what am I thinking of?" Billy chuckled and tried to go back to sleep, He heard a voice just as he was about to fall into a deep sleep. A male's voice, it has a creepy tone and all he could hear the voice say, was his name. Billy just pulled the covers over his face and tried to go back to sleep hoping that it's just another cryptic nightmare. Eventually, the voice stopped and Billy managed to fall asleep, unaware of who called his name, didn't sound like anyone he knew.
