Chapter 12: Peace Walker:

The rain was a fitting thing to have at a time like this. Billy and Jason looked over the city as the slowly the rain put out the fire and the surviving citizens and Regainers all shouted in rejoice. It was all over, the shouts echoed throughout the ruins of the city. Jason got on Orvil's loud speaker. "Regainers, citizens of Vilfor. Rejoice, Orvil is dead! Even now the remains of Orvil's terrine are being washed away." Jason looked at Billy with a smile. "Now it's my honor to announce to you our new leader, Billy Frasier!" Billy suddenly looked at Jason with his eyes wide? "Really... me?" "Yes, you will make an awesome leader Billy, you're young, wise, and after all, you're the hero." Billy sighed and closed his eyes and looked down to the streets. "I'll do it. I have no experience leading, but I'll do my best." Billy said. So it was settled, Billy ruled the capital of Vilfor.

One year passed since the events of the battle. Slowly Vilfor was turning into a bright and beautiful metropolis. The remaining Regainers helped the citizens restore the ruined city to its former glory. Jason as been appointed Vice president by orders of Billy and Billy has noticed how much of a great leader he was as well. Another year passed, it was the anniversary when Billy and Rebecca started going out. Jason was helping out in the community so Billy was alone in his throne room. Billy just stared out the large window. The sun rose over the horizon and a smell of salvation filled the air, "There's no way people should forget." Billy said to himself. "The legend must be passed down to the next generation." So Billy got some paper and wrote down every last word:

"How can I start this, where should I start this?" These words went through my head as I began to write. The victory was clenched and the light of salvation rose over the horizon, it felt good upon my skin; warm, soothing, pleasant. Though life was ending on a positive note the horrors of the past still haunt me. My name is Billy Frasier and what I have just survived may have you leaving in shock or perhaps inspired to fight for a greater good. This is a tale of might and determination only shown in the greatest of warriors like the ones you see in fairy tales or folk lore. So many people died, so many lives ended before my eyes and for what purpose, for power, for fame, for love? Power is a sickening thing that is passed on by corruption. Corruption is given to those who seek evil; their hearts are blackened by the darkness that dwells within them...

Billy kept writing down the story, making sure no details were ever left out. Eventually he finished. Billy pushed the papers together, and on top he put a separate sheet over and wrote the word "Imbalance" along the top. After, he wrote a letter to Jason and walked to the windowsill and stared down at the streets.

Jason, this world has no use for me. You're the better leader. My family was slain, my love was murdered, there's no purpose for me. They're waiting for me to come home, they're calling me, I can't keep them waiting. Share the story with everyone, the history in this story must never be repeated. For now, the future for this city is all but a blank page, lead them to better hope, a bright future.

Billy cried and looked up. "I can't keep you waiting Rebecca, after all, I have a promise to keep." He looked back at the throne room, "Jason, it's in your hands now." Billy closed his eyes and leaned forward and fell out of the window. Falling down he smiled "Mom, Dad, Rebecca... Get ready.... I'm coming home." Billy hit the ground and died on impact, still maintaining a smile.

Jason got word of Billy's death and rushed to funeral with haste. It was as if the entire city came to mourn over his death. Jason was the last one to arrive. He ran up to Billy's coffin and clenched the sides of it. "You're in good hands now. " Jason said with tears forming, "Say hi to Rebecca and your parents for me..." He paused and held Billy's hand, "I'll take care of them, I promise." Jason looked down at Billy, by now the tears were rolling down his face. By then, everyone left and Jason was the only one left. Jason closed Billy's casket and walked out of the church, tears rolling down his face. He went to the throne room and noticed the stack of paper and a note on top. Jason read it, every word and cried manly tears and looked out of the window into the bight sunset. He gave a salute to the sky. "Goodnight, sweet hero."
