You Waited Too Long

So the next few might come a little later, I'm having a hard time explaining some things in the book, so it might take a little while...fyi!

The day was just beginning, Caitlin had heard that the Reverse Flash captured Gaige but she escaped, this of course, made Caitlin nervous and worried. She tapped anxiously on the desk when there was a loud bang, she whirled around, lo and behold it was Captain Cold with Gaige in his arms.

"What are you doing here?! Did you hurt her?!" Caitlin stood up aggressively.

He just sighed, "No, Ms. Snow, I wouldn't hurt her, I'm trying to help her, believe it or not."

"What's wrong with her? Why can't she stand up on her own?" Caitlin asked suspiciously.

"I don't know, I think she was drugged or something when we, er she was captured by the Reverse Flash," Snart walked over to their hospital bed.

"Why are you helping her? Do you want something in return?" Caitlin questioned as she brought the medical equipment over.

"I don't want anything, I just want her to recover," Leonard said softly.

"I don't believe it, you're a criminal," she shook her head and hooked Gaige up to the heart monitor, her heart was going unusually slow.

"Yes, I am, but for once in my life, I'm trying to help someone, she definitely deserves it" Leonard said frustratedly.

"I don't trust you, I--"

"Good god no you shouldn't trust me, you should never ever trust my kind, but there's one thing you can be sure of, that I want to help Diamond, but uh, that's about as far as it goes," he smirked at Gaige's unconscious body.

"Well that's a first," Caitlin muttered.

Gaige started seizing causing both of them to panic.

"Hold her down!" Caitlin shouted.

Leonard held her down with his body as Caitlin injected something in Diamond's arm, she awoke with a scream.

"It's okay!" Leonard pushed her down.

"What's going on here?!" Cisco asked in bewilderment.

"It's Gaige, we think she was drugged when the Reverse Flash kidnapped her," Caitlin explained hurriedly as she injected something else into Gaige.

"Okay but why is Captain Cold here?!" Cisco still confused.

"Not enough time to explain, do you know what's wrong yet?" Leonard grunted with Gaige thrashing in his arms.

"Some kind of drug, if she had been here sooner we might of been able to help, but now I don't know, she waited too long," Caitlin panicked.

With a rush of guilt Leonard looked at Gaige who still shook in his arms, it was him who had them go back to the apartment, he couldn't help but feel that it was his fault.

"She had something in her apartment that stopped it before!" Leonard pulled the syringe he injected into her earlier from his pocket.

"How, never mind, thank god there is some left!" Caitlin exclaimed as he handed her the syringe.

After a few moments it worked, and her eyes opened, but they were gray.

"4 3 1 P M 3!" Diamond screamed.

"What the hell's that supposed to mean?!" Leonard shouted.

"4 3 1 P M 3!" She repeated.

"Uh, do you know what we just gave her?" Caitlin asked worriedly.

"Not a clue, but last time this didn't happen," Leonard released Gaige.

"1 3 0, 4 3 1 P M 3," she cried.

"This is starting to freak me out!" Cisco took apprehensive steps towards the bed.

"Welcome to the club," Leo groaned.

"Y 0 U D 0 N 1 U N D 3 R 1 4 N D,
H 0 W C 4 N Y 0 U N 0 1
U N D 3 R 1 4 N D!" Tears started to form in Diamond's eyes.

"Okay, we really need to find out what's happened everything is normal but her eyes and what ever she's saying," Caitlin said.

Diamond started muttering the same thing over and over again, " 4 3 1 P
M 3, 1 3 0 4 3 1 P M 3, 1 3 0..."

Caitlin bit her lip fearfully, " I hate to suggest this, but maybe she just went insane."
