Hey I'm updating within a few days instead of a few months! Woohoo! Also, say goodbye to your hearts.

Leonard

Pain rang through his head as he came to full consciousness. When he opened his eyes he had to close them again, because the lights blinded him.

"I think he's awake," Caitlin announced making her way over to him.

He groaned, his entire body felt like Jell-O.

"Don't try to move, your body is pretty beaten up," she informed him quietly, knowing loud noises would aggravate his head.

"Wonderful," Leonard winced in pain.

He slowly started to sit up, the action caused more pain to rush to his head.

"You should not be getting up," Stein told him.

Leo just moaned in response, he looked around, the two doctors, Oliver, Iris, Felicity, and Barry were there, no Diamond.

"If Gaige was here she would tell you the same thing," Iris tried to convince him.

"I'm fine."

"You really are not," Barry said.

"Someone should call Gaige," Caitlin suggested.

Iris pulled out her phone and took a few steps away from them.

"Hey Gaige you should get over here," Leonard heard her say into the phone.

"No! I'm not...Gaige! Shut up and listen to me! Thank you, Leonard's awake," Iris exhaled.

After a few moments she spoke again, "Okay, I'll see you soon."

After hanging up she turned to the others, "She is not in good condition."

"She probably just needs some time and space," Stein said.

That's not what she wants...is it?

"Please lay back down, at least till Gaige gets here," Caitlin sighed.

Silently, he laid back down and closed his eyes involuntarily, going back into a light unconsciousness.

(Time skip)

He awoke again, this time to someone arguing in a whisper, it was Iris, "Diamond, he was awake when I called you! Please..."

"It doesn't matter, I'm just done, next time just let him walk out," Leonard could hear Diamond throw her hands in the air in exasperation.

"What are you talking about? Wait! Gaige!" Iris gave a frustrated sigh.

Oh god, what did I do.

He opened his eyes to see her limping out with a bandage on her hand and the sense of anger and pain.

"Of course now you wake up just after she leaves, I know that you aren't completely functional, but you really need to go after her," Iris looked around, the doctors had left for the time being and Felicity was asleep next to Oliver.

"Just help me up."

Iris nodded and once he was on his feet he made his way after her. When he got out of the building he saw Diamond getting into a different car, one she had obviously stolen...again

"Diamond!"

She looked over at him through the window in surprise.

"You could help me out here," Leonard panted.

After blinking for a moment, she got out and went over to him as fast as she could.

"I didn't know you were awake," Diamond swallowed as he leaned on her.

"I just woke up, why were you leaving?" He stared at her.

"Leonard...I don't know," she released her breath.

"You don't know? Come on, Diamond! You can't keep saying that! I need a straight answer from you," his voice growing louder as he forced her to look at him.

"An answer for what!?" She rose her voice as well.

"How am I supposed to make a decision if all I get is anger and what feels like resentment," he sighed frustratedly.

"Resentment! From me? Really!? You're the one who told me that you were considering walking away! And you feel resentment?! Seriously?" Diamond blew up.

"I don't know anymore!"

She shook her head angrily, tears forming, "Why do I even have feelings for you?! I know what you're going to do, just like everyone else, you'll hurt me too, they all do in the end."

He motioned to the Lab, "What about them?! They wouldn't do that to you! I wouldn't either!"

"I'm waiting, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, I know it will happen, just like you will do it too, because that's life, that's my life!" Diamond's tears fell down her face, "I should have seen it, that night at Jitters, you came in too good to be true, hell you practically screamed that you were going to leave and break my heart, then at Central Park, you basically said you were done with me, you were scared of hurting me back with the Reverse Flash, well congratulations, you've officially done it."

"Diamond...before you were going to leave the city I meant what I said, I'm not going to lose you!" Her words sliced through him and cut him down, the thing that scared him most had finally happened.

"There will always be someone who wants to hurt you, who wants to hurt me, if we are around each other it just makes us more vulnerable, believe it or not, I am trying to protect you from a whole new world of pain," she sighed tears still falling.

"So, what we have to choose between the emotional pain of not being together or the physical pain of someone using our love against us? Why?" He shook his head.

"I've said I don't know so many times I've lost track," she gave a sad smile.

"What is going to happen now?"

Diamond stayed silent, just looking at him.

"No..."

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry,"she gave a small cry.

A pained expression crossed Leonard's face and after a moment of just looking at her, he pulled away and went the opposite direction of her.

What is happening?

Oh so distraught! *evil laughing*
