Draco felt bad; really bad. He lay on his bed staring out the window which was beside it in the Slytherin boys' dormitory. He kept clutching on his nose and fumed in anger and frustration on acting so crudely and also making a fool of himself in front of his house mates when he got punched by Hermione.
For one thing, the members of Slytherin were really shocked to see Draco being punched right in the face and be shut up. Draco had been talked back to by Potter and Weasley many times but nobody had made it physical, not even once. Secondly, Draco felt bad for the first time for saying all that stuff to Hermione in the first place. He basically had called her a low-life and for some reason his conscience was bugging him, telling him he shouldn't have done it. Not only that, but Draco couldn't stop himself from thinking how attractive Hermione looked when she punched him. A small part of him was actually glad that she did.
Draco frantically shook his head and stared harder at the stars out in the sky. There is no way he can think like that. Why would he ever find that Granger attractive in any sort of way?
"I need some sleep, that's all." He muttered in the dark. "That ought to do it. I'll send my father an owl about this first thing in the morning."
It wasn't until after another hour or so that Draco finally found sleep and drifted off into a disturbed slumber.
