"Adios, muchacho."

"Sayonara, minna."

"At least speak in English, you two! And yeah, see you later Logan."

"Bye, Logan. Bye, Tori. Hope you're excited for our Girls' Night tomorrow!"

Tori looked at Miranda and smiled. "Of course. I can't wait."

The group of friends exited from the front door of Logan's large house. After the cake was cut and Logan's friends gave him their actual gifts for him, the group left after a couple hours of running around the house throwing cake at each other and goofing around.

"Watch out for yourselves!" Logan called out. "Remember that you've started a prank war. I can attack you all anytime, anywhere and you won't even see it coming!"

Tori chuckled as she crouched down to put on her own sneakers as well. "Well, I have to get going too. See you later, Logan." She stood up and smiled at him.

Logan furrowed his eyebrows. "Why are you leaving right now? Stay for a while."

"Huh?" Tori's eyes widened. "You want me to stay longer? But Logan, it's nearly ten. I have to go, or Mom will be worried."

Logan smiled. "I called her a while ago. I told her you'll be a little late and that I'll drop you off myself." Logan continued with the same grin on his face. "She said she was fine with it, as long as you don't walk home alone."

Tori face palmed. "I need to have a talk with my mother."

"Why, what's wrong?" Logan asked with a concerned look on his face. "I just wanted to show you around a bit. Since, you know, it's the first time you've been here." He shrugged.

Tori thought for a moment then smiled at him. "Sure, why not?"

"Yay!" Logan yelled in delight. "Now let me take you to a place I know for sure that you'll love. Come on!" Logan took hold of Tori's wrist and made her come along.

Tori instantly blushed at the contact. Well this is sure going to be a long night, she thought.

"Ta-da!" Logan proclaimed as he opened the large teak wood door. He gestured towards the rows and rows of books aligned along the shelves in the large room. "Welcome to my household's humble mini-library!"

Tori stepped inside with wide eyes. Her mouth was hanging open and her eyes were shining. "Wow." She managed to breathe out.

She looked at the large study table on the right which already had stack of papers and files covering the surface. On the left there were a few sofas with a coffee table placed between them and beside the big window in the left corner there were even a bunch of bean bags. In the center of the ceiling, hung a large grand chandelier, illuminating the whole room with a bright light.

"I think I might be in love." Tori said as she ran towards the large shelves filled with books.

Logan grinned and crossed his arms. "I knew you'd like it. This is my father's library but my step-mom Linda likes to have her evening coffee here with a book or two now and then."

Tori twirled around in delight to look at him. "Oh, yeah, I forgot you have a step-mother." She clapped her hands together. "Can I camp out here sometimes?"

Logan laughed. "Sure, you can come in here whenever. It seems I'm always at your place, but do visit my house, too."

Tori kept smiling until a thought came up to her. "If you have this-" she gestured around the room, "-then why did you take me to the public library for your History essay?"
