Tori checked her phone one last time.
Only two minutes were left. Two minutes until Logan would come and pick her up for their outing together. Well, it could take him more time. It's not like he will arrive at five o'clock on the dot now, will he?
Tori tugged at her sweater and snuggled into it, thinking about the day she had planned ahead for the two of them. Olivia and Justin had specifically mentioned to take at least a few hours and not to let Logan come near his house any earlier than nine. Her heart started beating faster at the thought of spending that much time with him.
Just then she heard a loud horn honk in front of her house and Tori quickly checked her watch. Huh, so he did arrive at exactly five.
She gathered all her stuff and left a post-it on her fridge for her Mom, like she usually did. After locking the front door and settling into the seat beside Logan in his car, Tori flashed him a nervous smile.
"You ready?" Logan asked with a smirk.
"Let's go."

Tori couldn't stop laughing as Logan and her exited the movie theatre. "Oh my, God! You should have seen the look on your face!" She wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Okay, that's enough!" Logan playfully slapped her on the shoulder. "Stop laughing, dammit!"
Tori managed to stifle her laughter and tried to put on a serious face. But after one look at Logan, she began bawling in hysterics once more.
"You can't really blame me. It was such a pathetic horror film and you were so scared!" She giggled as they slipped back into their respective seats in Logan's car.
"I just- I- we'll talk about this another time. Now shut up." Logan pouted and turned on the engine of his car. As he swiftly drove out of the parking lot, Tori noticed he had a slight pinkish tint on his cheeks.
"Oh my gosh, you are blushing!" Tori's right hand went to her mouth in shock. "If you're that scared of horror movies we won't go next time."
"Yeah yeah, go ahead and make fun of me." Logan replied irritably. "Just don't tell the guys about it." Tori swore Logan's blush slightly deepened.
"Of course, why would I tell anyone that the school's Golden Boy is scared shitless of even pathetic horror movies?" Tori teased further.
"Hey, clowns are scary as hell!"
"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Tori laughed at his adorable outburst, since he was still blushing. "So where are we going next?"
"We're going to McDonald's. I'm freaking starving."
They soon entered the nearest McDonald's parking lot and got out. After making their way to the outlet, Tori decided to sit in the corner most booth.
"Wait, why'd you go sit in the farthest corner?" Logan asked with an arched brow, while slipping into the cushioned seat right opposite Tori.
"I hate being in the very center of a crowd." Tori shrugged.
"We should also do something about your confidence level." Logan remarked and Tori kept silent.
After they gave their orders and paid for their receipts at the counter, Logan eyed the humongous green bag that sat beside Tori suspiciously, which she previously had struggled to bring along with her.
"Okay, I have been ignoring that for a while now but what in heaven's name have you got in that bag?" Logan finally exclaimed causing Tori to grin at him. "Do you have a dead body in there?"
