Lily

"Are you a dementor? Because you take my breath away."

Lily rolled her eyes at the tall, spectacled boy with dark messy hair.

"Go away Potter."

"Did you survive the avada kedavra curse? Cause you're drop-dead gorgeous."

"You used that one last week," said Lily, shoving a transfiguration book back onto the shelf while James Potter leaned against one of the book shelves watching her.

"I don't know what Quidditch position you play but you sure look like a keeper."

Lily rolled her eyes again but this time she couldn't help the small smile creeping up on her face. She turned and hit Potter on the arm softly with one of her books.

"Ouch," he said, humour twinkling in his bright hazel eyes. "Careful Evans or you might actually hurt me."

Lily grabbed a huge history of magic book and held it above his head.

"Woahh," he said with wide eyes and Lily smirked.

She continued searching for a book along the shelves. Slughorn had mentioned something about her class studying Felix Felicis and she was eager to read about it first, however was finding it difficult to do so with the toe-rag Potter constantly talking to her.

"Sooo," he began, scratching the back of his neck, "I erm heard old Sluggy's having a Christmas party and, err, I wondered if -" his voice faded though when he saw her look.

"Please Potter I am trying to find a book," she said kindly although couldn't help but watch Potter run his hand through his black hair.
His smile faltered a little but then was replaced by a grin.

"Okay but first listen to this one. Made it up myself. Are you snitch? Cause I've been searching for you my whole life."

Lily shook her head but let out a little laugh which made Potter's smile grow even wider.

"Bye Potter," she said after pulling out 'Advanced Potion Making' and she walked away.
