Chapter 22

This is important, Okay right yeah. I think some of you have discovered that if you are reading this on the wattpad app on your phone, apple product, android, etc it isn't updating so if you may have to read on a laptop or use the the internet on your mobile device other than the app.

#Alice's POV#

"-I guess it's just the pregnancy but I am so stressed right now!" Denise exclaims. I want to pay attention and I want to help her but the only thing swirling in my mind is how much I just want to rip her throat out. I can swear I took my meds this morning but all I know is right now I am dying of thirst.

As if reading my mind - which doesn't surprise me - Louis appeared "Take this" He passes me that god send of a smoothie. I snatch out his hand and drink it as if my life depended on it. I notice Denise tense up as she puts the jet on auto-pilot before excusing herself. Louis took control of the flight which made me feel a little less nervous, just a little less. I mean it is Louis we're talking about here.

"Why did she go so suddenly?" I ask sitting back in my seat. His eyes flicked from my face the drink in my hand before clearing his throat
"No reason... No reason at all..." Well, alrght then...

I was soon bored of sitting in the pilots cabin with Louis and left to go back to Harry. The second I set foot in the room me and Harry had been previously cuddled in I notice that it is no longer occupied so I walk into the room where Harry had mentioned the others to be.

I open the door and clicked it shut behind me all the sounds of chatting had disintergrated leaving nothing but blank eyes and emotionless faces staring at me. Did I interrupt something?

#Harry's POV#

"She's thirsty" Louis sighs before pulling a bottle out his bag and leaving our cabin 
"I can't believe we're going to tell her, she's going to panic and she's going to faint and eurgh! What the actual f-ck is going through your mind, Haz! Seriously. If- If she finds out she's going to freak and I am not putting up with her-!"
"No one asked you too" Zayn snaps at Summer cutting her off. I've noticed Zayn has a soft spot for Alice, I'm sure I heard him tell Niall he thought of her as a little sister- Which really got to me since he had to leave his sisters behind many years ago now
"Listen, Summer she needs to know what she is! How would you like it if you didn't know you were a vampire and you were slowly wilting away to nothing? Pretty sh-t, I'd reckon!" I shout silencing her as well as everyone else. This girl has been really getting under my skin lately, I understand that she hates Alice, but it's like she's never heard the phrase 'If you've got nothing nice to say, say nothing at all' 

"Listen Summer, if Harry wants to tell her, he can" CeCe butts in
"Yeah, he's made the connection, Sum. She's his property now. You can't tell him what to do and what not to do with her" Niall speaks up

I hate the way they speak of Alice. I know everything they say is true she is just my property. To them anyway. To me she is so much more. She's- She's my everything. I've given her my heart... She just hasn't found it yet.

"I still we should wait until absolutely-!" Summer silenced herself before everyones head turned towards the new arrival of Alice
"Am I intruding on something? I- I can go?" She offers nervously using her thumb to point at the door behind her
"Well this is my cue to leave!" Denise stands in all her pregnant glory before awkwardly shuffling around Alice trying not to poke Alice with her baby bump
"Sit down" I coldly say, why I am being so harsh will be a mystery. I guess I am just trying to hide how panicked I am so it doesn't freak her out. She nodded quickly taking the seat Denise had occupied moments ago "Alice-" 
"I- I'm going to go feed the ducks" Greg fails an excuse before leaving the tension filled room
"Yeah, I'll join you" Liam heads out after Greg
"I just don't want to be in here, T-T-F-N" Summer leaves too, T-T-F-N? What the-?
"It means Ta-Ta For Now" Louis enters the room; sitting next to Alice

"Okay, Alice. I- I don't know how to say this... But..." Oh god. I don't want to tell her yet. It's to soon for me let alone her. Louis looked at me, understanding my thoughts
"Where we're going" Louis begins "There's these twins..." Everyone immediately relaxes at the realization of the fact Alice's true self will remain a secret "They're Alfonso's... Daughters, I suppose. Jamie and Nara. They're looks are deceiving believe me" Louis states and my lips form an 'o' I had completely forgotton to warn her about them!
"Jamies, she's a deus" I take over "Nara she's well, the opposite. She's a Diabo" I gulp at my own words (A/N: They are completely made up creatures, by the way) 

"Deus? Diabo?" Alice furrows her eyebrows
"You see, Alice...

'50 years ago - give or take. Alfonso and his wife, Erika were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Jamie and Nara. Both tanned skin, hypnotizing blue eyes and there tiny tuffs of chocolate brown hair, the silkiest, most shiniest ever. They were true beauties. Erika and her witch doctor husband were convinced they were lucky as they, themselves were two of utter distaste, neither of the couple showed any good features, except Erika, her soul was as pure as a dove. Only many years into the twins life did they discover they were cursed. The gods had battled over if the twins should have the heart of the mother or the father. They split the agreement. Athena - godess of war and cunning wisdom - took all her rage - from the confrontation with her fellow god - and let it out on poor Nara, the baby had her innocent soul replaced with one of blood, gore, death and war as she grew up she wanted nothing more than to destroy everything in her path after numerous battles with her older sister, by only 20 minutes, they declared that Jamie was the stronger twin and Nara should never enter their land again.

'Jamie, is overly angelic thanks to Aphrodite the godess of Love and Beauty, Jamie was cherished and worshipped by near by tribes and her parents. Some would say that she is very much prettier than her twin, others would say that Nara was undeniably gorgeous- Of course that would have been only by luck. Athrodite chose Jamie meaning she should be the most beautifully sculpted woman in all lands. The angel-like twin is also loved by many, cared for by many and is also the most loving and caring. Growing up she was favouritized by her parents, slowly trimming Nara out of the picture. 

'Nara ran and she ran as far as she could. Never to have been seen since and it's said that if a person were to see her, she'd tear the beating heart from her victims bare chest, before using the corpse as a food source. A cannibal, she's said to be a cannibal while her sister basically has people bowing at her feet. And that how it should be... Deus is a god like creature whereas a Diabo is something along the lines of... A devil in disguise'

"So they are like... God and the... Anti-God?" Alice asks
"Yeah, I s'pose" Zayn answers for me
"I personally think we should watch out for Jamie" My beautiful Alice speaks, more to herself than us
"Why?" CeCe speaks, genuinely curious
"She just doesn't seem as pure and perfect as you think. Honestly to me she sounds more evil than her sister"
"Why do you say that?" This time it's Niall who speaks up while I stay silent during the whole exchange
"Like have you ever wondered if Jamie aimed to get Nara disowned because she knew Nara was better-looking and had a kinder heart. Maybe Nara is how she is because she's had to fend for herself for so long and the forest has driven her mad" Alice explains "I think people have been looking at this all wrong, I understand Nara is supposedly evil, maybe she's just mis-understood" She takes a deep breath "I think we should see Nara first"

I took a while to process Alice's words. She's right.

"Alright guys, looks like we're going on an adventure" I clap my hands together while everyone cheers
