Chapter 24

"Haz" Jamie smiled, sweetly towards my Ha- Er, um Harry
"Jamie" He replied emotionless, but it was clear something was between them by the spark in his eye. Ouch, that hit my ego slightly.

"What no hugs?" She pouted "No... Kisses?" She smirked. Well then there was definitely something between the two
"You have Ace now" He shuffles awkwardly. Oh so the sl-t has a boyfriend? Maybe she should leave mine- Uh Harry alone then
"I'll never stop loving you, Haz. You know that" She speaks sadly
"Excuse me while I be sick" Nara says
"I'm with you there, sister!" CeCe says before the two high-five
"I... I have someone else now, Jamie" Harry states.

I felt extremely triumphant with this knowledge. I knew, I don't know how, but I knew he was talking about me and that made my cheeks burn, stomach knot and my lips tug into a cocky smirk as Jamie eyed me, clearly furious with Harry's words.

"I have someone else to, but then never stopped us before, did it?" She whines. Wow, way to 'not' act childish
"Stop humiliating yourself, sissy" Nara bites. Her tone cold as ice sending a deep shiver down my spin
"Butt out, Nara. You know nothing" Jamie's tone is equally as harsh
"I know enough to see that my best friends heart clearly belongs to another"

I mentally cheered on Nara. It is officially blatant who the evil twin was but as I watched Harry's head snap between the two while his face was holding much concentration it was obvious he was still contemplating on which, but I am sure he thinks that Jamie is an angel as when he looks at her I can see the desire and admiration burning in his eyes, which killed me. My heart fell straight to the floor; shattering to a million pieces 

"You b-tch!" Jamie shouts before lunging at my new favourite person who just happened to be her sister. My eyes widened at the two girls clawing, biting and pulling eachothers hair as they rolled on the floor, providing us with a very comical scene. I bit my lip to keep in my giggles but fail as I end up joining in everyone elses' undying laughter. Except Harry he looked around as if he had no clue what to do with himself. But I don't care. I am extremely p-ssed with him right now. Why? I honestly couldn't tell you.

#Harry's POV#

I felt panicked as the girls tore at eachothers skin in amongst the dead leaves and rock debris. But that wasn't what was panicking me. No, of course not. The two had their unfinished business that I don't care to give a second thought towards. What is panicking me is the fact Louis is mentally telling me every fierce, hateful, impassioned, outraged, turbulent thought that raced through Alice's not-so-innocent mind.

Guess who they were about?

Me.

She genuinely thought that I had some kind of feelings for Jamie. Yeah, once upon a time we had a fling but that's all it was, a fling. I am happy to see her, she was once a big part of my life and I can't just throw her out and forget about her, she's took up to much of my life. This is exactly why I told her about them last night. I hoped she would understand how conniving these idiots rolling on the floor are. Jamie, she's strong, powerful and knows how to use her beauty to her advantage. Nara is much like her twin, strong and poweful but looks mean nothing to her, it's all tactics and plans, she knew what to do and when to do it, giving her the evil genius vibe that always repelled me and lead me to Jamie, who in mine aswell as everyone elses' eyes was perfect much related to an angel it was only last night, Alice made something click inside me. She was right, Jamie is far from the sweet, innocent girl she wants people to think her to be.

I don't know how I hadn't figured this out before.

She is engaged to be married to a tribal cheifs son but claims to be madly in-love with me, managed to get her own twin sister disowned from everyone she knew, loved and cherished as well as coming here and sabotaging everything. God only knows what she did in the time since I had been here last.

"Just go home, Jamie! You're not wanted here! Look at Alice! Her anger is getting me nervous and Harry nearly crying from stress isn't helping! You're making everyone uncomfortable! Just leave. This is my territory and you're trespassing" Nara screams so loudly. Jamie's eyes immediately bore into mine showing desperation whereas mine revealed nothing but anger and hate. That's what sparked in them earlier, anger. Not, love, lust or anything else Alice thought, it was pure anger. I shook my head turning away from the brown orbs begging for my approval which I reject for the millionth time since I met her when we were just eight.

"I'm telling dad!" Jamie screams, beginning to climb up a tree, resembling somewhat of a monkey
"Go ahead, we won't be here when you come back!" Nara cups one side of her mouth as she shouts at her vine-swinging sister.

"So how can I be of service?" Nara pats down her "clothing" not like it made much of a difference
"What are you?" Alice blurts before anyone can tell her why we're really here
"Ahh, devil to most, angel to a few" She smirks
"Oh alright" Alice nods.
"Well follow at your own risk" Nara sighs, before walking in the direction we walking only hours ago. We all followed after her.

All the bushes, branches and leafs were moved away by Niall's telekinesis which creeped Nara out a tad but she eventually yet cautiously took the path though she did freak out a little when all the bushes and such went back to their original positions behind us.

A hour of walking, a hour of unruly heat, a hour of Alices' moaning, a hour of Summer complaining about her hair, a whole, long ass, mother-effing hour until we stopped at... Nothing. We were stood at nothing. Just a part of the rainforest, like the rest of it, there was indeed no difference at all.

"And these are my people" Nara speaks looking up
"Your people?" I question, looking up as well. The whole of the tree-topped area was covered in 20 maybe 30 huts all connected by bridges and/or ladders
"My people" She finalizes before climbing up the tree much like Jamie had earlier "Are you guys going to join me or stand their like the idiots you are?" She laughs
"Alice?" I offer her my back so I can carry her to the tree top village, she shakes her head no, so I wait until she is distracted to grab her left arm and swing her onto my back
"Harold!" She shouts, wrapping arms and legs tightly around me as I jump onto the tree digging my fingers into the bark as I begin climbing higher and higher; laughing at Alice's protests.

One we'd reached the top of the tree, I placed her down on the bridge everyone else stood on, admiring the small society Nara called 'her people'
"For heavens sake, Harry!" Alice yells "I was just- And you just and it was just- Argh!" She screams in frustration while I stand their wanting her to see my amusement, she notices this before spitting many, many colourful words in my direction.

A small thought popped into mind but I don't think I should go through with it, she is clearly angry as is...

'Do it, she's waiting' Louis' voice intrudes on my thoughts. I nod at him before cupping Alice's face in my hands and kissing her softly on her plump, deep pink lips. She was resisting at first, I slowly let my hands fall, skimming the skin her arms on the way down before eventually resting them on her waist, massaging small circles with my finger tips and just like that she was putty in my hands as she melted into the kiss. Finally moving her lips with mine.

We soon pulled away and Alice was smiling widely "I'm going to ramble more often" She states; I chuckle at her openess before turning to the others who were quite happily making gagging noises.

"C'mon lover boy, let's get this over and done with" Nara states leading us towards her hut.
