54: Thunder

You were there when its raining cats and dogs. The thin blanket was all over your slim body, wishing the thunder and its boisterous sound would be gone. Specially that Calum wasn't there to stay.

You cuddled the fluffy white sheet pillow and closed your eyes, urging yourself to suppress your fear, engaging your mind in to the positive atmosphere.

Just imagine that you're playing hide and seek with Calum Y/N. Don't let him see you! You thought, your face was now buried in to the pillow. Tears streak down to your cuddling pillow, your face was deeply buried and cursing in to the muffled voice.

The sound of crashing thunder eat your positivity, you're frowning in all you could, wishing that the brightness of the thunder could be lessen and the amount of ear piercing rain would vanish.

"Ugh!" Calum chimed in, his clothes was all wet. He shook his head to lessen the amount of the rain in his hair, making him trudge through the dimly lit living room.

"Y/N?" He asked, wandering his eyes on the dark kitchen, remembering that he didn't told you that he would be home for tonight.

"Y/N? Baby I'm home!" Calum once again called you, his voice was a little bit weary and his body was surely cold with the rain.

He walked his way into the bedroom that two of you shared, you thought it was another lightning stroke in to the ground. You shivered with the cold temperatures and curled up if it is more possible, leading you to stumble down in to the ground.

You groaned and rubbed your ankles, it hurt a lot because it had the strongest impact. You removed the blanket in your head, lightning break your annoyance and you immediately closed your eyes.

"Waaaah Calum!"you cried, you wanted him to be safe and you also want your self to be safe. You're safe as long you're in the corner of your room, but the thoughts, those horrible thoughts invades your mind, easily beating you up.

You surrendered and broke down, knowing that you couldn't call your boyfriend because of fright that your phone will got hit by the thunder. And besides, you know that by this time, he's singing in to the wide opened arena, his name was chanted by those fangirls who was draining their energies for cheering the boys and supporting them as much as they could.

An arm heft around your shoulders, leaning in to the crook of your neck and whispering " I'm home" made you feel safe and wet. Calum still didn't changed his clothes yet. He hopped the bedroom and wrapped his arms around you, kissed your cheeks and assured you that you're safe now.

He picked you up and placed you down in to the blue colored bedsheets, throwing his shirt out of the blue, making your face feel so hot. You covered your eyes in the sight of him and his so goddamn well abs, and his tattoos that enshrouding his tan colored skin, make you curl up in the edge of the bed, heaving a sigh.

"Calum," you tried to take your eyes on him, but the thunder growled outside your window, the red colored curtain started to flow freely because of the wind pressure.

"Shh.. You're safe. I'm home." He kissed you in your lips, claiming it like it haven't touched for a long time.

"I love you Y/N, just so you know." He smirked, his brown eyes glistened, makes your heart pound in your chest, you looked away just so you won't be tempted to kiss him back.

"I love you too Calum." You wrapped your hands around his neck, passing out in his shoulders.
