Hi! I’m Luna. I’m 24, and I’m always being picked on for being short. I’m not really
that short, I’m only five four. I’ve got bright orange hair and blue-green eyes, and yes it’s natural.
Everyone asks me if I dye my hair, but I don’t. Is it not normal to have bright orange hair that’s natural? Maybe not, but then again, I’m not natural. I’m not the normal girl though. I’m the girl that you’ll see in the back of the class, listening to my favorites like Jeffree Star and Blood On The Dance Floor. It’s funny, I actually know them and I live with them. I told you I’m not normal. Well this is me. We met by chance when I was helping my brother load band equipment for tour. I've always been a huge fan of Blood On The Dance Floor, so I nearly passed out when Jayy offered to help me lift a heavy box. Afterwards, we talked for a while and became best friends.
We recently moved in together and we're inseparable, even when Dahvie comes over to work on music. Today my dad asked me to come home and visit, but I'm not sure I want to because Jayy is going on tour in a couple days and he hasn't told me yet whether I can go or not. However, I'm going home anyway. When my dad picked me up and I got in the truck, my brother was there. I laughed in my mind about the fact he was being dragged home too. Down the road, my dad swerved off the road into a cornfield.
"What are you doing?" I asked loudly.
"Just a little reckless driving." He laughed.
Suddenly the truck flipped and everything went black. I woke up the next morning, still in the truck, and climbed out of the window. No one noticed we crashed because we were in a cornfield at night. I wasn't in a lot of pain, my throat just felt blocked up. I could breathe, so I just ignored it. Everyone else was out of the truck too, so I texted Jayy to come get us. After dropping my dad and brother off at their houses, Jayy took me back to his house.
I walked inside to find Jeffree Star waiting for us in the kitchen. He hugged me and said what a long time it had been since he had seen me. I tried to reply, but I found I couldn't speak. I tried again, but no one heard what I said to Jayy. I turned to the counter and leaned against it in defeat. I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist and rest their head on my shoulder. I looked down to see Jayy's tattooed arms and sighed.
"What's wrong? I know you aren't catching feelings for me, are you?" Jayy joked as he sat down on the countertop beside me. I shook my head and turned to Jeffree. I used hand gestures to try telling him I can't speak.
"She can't speak, Jayy." He said and I nodded. I slowly gestured to him that I need to go to the hospital.
"You need to go to the hospital?" Jeffree asked. I nodded again. Jayy gasped and jumped down from the counter. He picked me up and carried me to his car. I closed my eyes and tried not to cry. I don't really remember much from Jayy taking me to the hospital. I just knew that I'd have to be away from Jayy for a while and that thought distracted me from what was going on around me.
