Chapter 38: Wedding Day

Luna's POV
I haven't seen Danny since this morning and I miss him so much right now. We're both getting ready in separate rooms and we've got an hour left until the wedding. I finished putting my makeup on and slipped into my dress. 30 minutes left. I walked around and helped all the girls finish what they needed to do. Finally, we were told to get into place. Eventually, I was the only one left to go out and I got really nervous. It's time to marry the love of my life. I walked down the isle and Adore started crying. She hugged me tightly as I reached her at the altar.
"Your dress is beautiful." She told me.
"So is yours." I laughed. We stood hand in hand and waited for the preacher to begin.
"Do you, Danny Noriega, take Luna Hawthorne to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He asked Adore.
"I do." She said with a smile. He then turned to me.
"Do you, Luna Hawthorne, take Danny Noriega to be your lawfully wedded husband?" He asked.
"I do." I replied, smiling brightly. After we said everything else, he pronounced us husband and wife, and everyone cheered. Then we went to the reception hall and waited for the first dance. Adore picked her own song, Play With My Hair, to be the song for our first dance. We rocked back and forth until the song ended and everyone cheered for us. He kissed me and we waited for the next song. The father-daughter dance. My dad came out and danced with me. Then Adore came back and we danced for hours. Finally, we were able to go home. Tomorrow we go on our honeymoon in Hawaii. I know that seems cheesy because everyone goes there, but we really want to. When we walked into our house, Adore got out of drag and came back into the living room. By that point, I had changed from my dress back into regular clothes. Danny pulled me into the bedroom and shut the door. He picked me up and carried me the bed.
"I can't believe we're finally married." I told him as he lay me down on the bed.
"Me either." Danny replied and climbed on top of me. He started kissing my neck and I dug my nails into his back. That made him bite his lip and kiss my neck harder. I took his shirt off and he kissed me roughly.

Danny lay down beside me and I cuddled up to him. I closed my eyes and lay my head on his chest. I listened to his heartbeat for a while.
"I love you so much." Danny said, breaking the silence. I leaned up and kissed him.
"I love you too, baby." I replied and he kissed me back. I lay my head back down on his chest and he sang to me for a while. Finally, I fell asleep listening to him sing.
