Chapter 47: Love You Better

Luna's POV
I woke up next to Danny. I sighed and cuddled up to him.
"Last night was fun." I said sleepily.
"Yeah, it was. We should've known he'd leave in the middle of the night. That's kinda his thing. I'm glad he's with Alaska though. I thought Alaska would never date anyone after Sharon." Danny replied. I nodded and kissed him.
"I always knew you were a bottom, I just never thought I'd see it." I laughed. Danny whined and lightly hit my arm. I suddenly felt very sick and ran to the bathroom. My stomach hurt very badly and I threw up repeatedly into the toilet. Danny sat down behind me and held my hair back.
"Thank you." I said before throwing up again.
"Of course, baby." He said and rubbed my back gently with his free hand. Finally, I didn't feel sickly anymore and stood up. Danny hugged me and kissed my forehead. He reached around me and flushed the toilet.
"Are you pregnant?" Danny giggled.
"I don't know." I replied and lay my head on his chest.
"Maybe you should go to the doctor just to make sure you're not sick. Being sick around a newborn isn't good and mom is bringing Alexandria back tomorrow." Danny told me. I nodded and just held onto him.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. Let's go get me checked out." I replied with a sigh before pulling away from him.
At the doctor, we patiently waited for the urine test to come back. Finally, the doctor walked in.
"Well, it's just as your husband thought. You're pregnant." The doctor said. Danny and I both screamed in excitement and hugged each other tightly.
Back at home, we sat on the couch and talked excitedly about the news.
"I can't believe we're having another baby!" Danny exclaimed.
"Me either! I'm really excited!" I replied excitedly. Danny got a phone call and rushed to answer it.
"Hey, Roy!" Danny screamed into the phone. They talked for a few minutes before he hung up.
"Roy is coming over for a little bit." Danny told me with a smile. Soon, we heard the doorbell ring and Danny answered it. They hugged and Roy walked over to me and hugged me too.
"Can you keep a secret, Roy?" Danny asked.
"Sure, Dannyboy. What's up?" Roy replied.
"We just found out Luna is pregnant! We're having another baby!" Danny screamed excitedly. Roy hugged both of us again.
"I'm so happy for you two!" Roy replied with a smile.
"We're both really excited! Now, if you'll excuse me, mommy had to pee because her bladder is still fucked up from the first baby." I laughed and walked quickly to the bathroom. After I used the bathroom, I started walking back towards the living room. I felt something running down my legs and looked down to see blood all over the front of my pants. Oh no, this cannot be happening right now.
"Danny!" I screamed and fell to my knees. Danny peeked around the corner and his face went pale when he saw me.
"No!" He screamed as he ran over to me. He sat in front of me and called an ambulance.
"What's wrong? What happened?" Roy asked as he walked into the hallway.
"She's losing the baby." Danny said quietly through the tears. Roy sat down beside him and pulled him into a tight hug. All I could do is sit there and cry until the ambulance arrived. They took me away, and soon I was laying in a hospital bed with Danny and Roy beside me.
"Why is this happening to us?" Danny cried out.
"Calm down, Danny. It's going to hurt for a while. You're going to get through this together." Roy said and hugged him.
"It's okay, Danny." I told him through the tears. He grabbed my hand and rubbed his thumb over the back of my hand.
"I love you." Danny said and leaned over to kiss me.
"I love you too, baby. It's all gonna be okay." I told him.
Danny's POV
When we got home, I helped Luna to bed and sat in the living room. I just needed some time on my own. I pulled out my phone and went to Twitter.
@AdoreDelano: I am so heartbroken tonight that something so precious could be taken in the same day it was given to us.
@AdoreDelano: I'll explain more in the morning. Right now I just need to be there for my wife who is just as heartbroken as I am.

I went into the bedroom and lay down beside Luna. I kissed her and she cuddled up to me. Soon, I was falling asleep.
