Chapter 23: Our New Life Begins

3 months later
Luna's POV
It's been one whole day since I have my baby away. I didn't want to see it, didn't want to know the gender, anything. I wanted it to be as painless as possible to let go. I just wanted to think about how I was giving it a better life by doing this. Danny was by my side the whole time. Jayy was not present because he's currently in jail with a domestic violence charge and I got a restraining order against him. Jeffree was there as well. He and Danny were the only people I even wanted to be there. This morning, I was released from the hospital and went back home. Danny had been asked to do a show as Adore tonight, so Jeffree was staying with me to make sure I was resting.
"Today officially begins a new chapter of your life." Jeffree said as he lay beside me in Danny's bed.
"Yes it does. I'm kind of excited, honestly. Now, Danny and I can focus on our relationship rather than all the crazy things that have been happening for the last 6 months. Holy crap, Danny and I have been together for 6 months. It doesn't seem like it's been that long yet." I replied, talking excitedly.
"Do you miss him when he has to go to shows?" Jeffree asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, I usually go and watch, but I really miss him when I don't go. Obviously, I couldn't go tonight because I just had a baby yesterday. Pretty soon he's going to be releasing new music and start touring again. That's going to be really hard because we've never been away from each other for more than a few hours." I sighed and closed my eyes.
"You'll make it through. You both will. The love that you two have for each other is stronger than the distance. Danny will be out there having fun performing and meeting tons of his fans, and you'll just have to make the most of your alone time. Plus, you can always stay with me and Nathan if you want to." Jeffree replied with a smile. I smiled and nodded.
"That's true. I probably will, honestly. I don't want to be alone in Danny's house without him hear. I'll spend way too much time thinking about him." I told him with a sigh.
We got lost in conversation, and soon Danny was home. Jeffree hugged both of us goodbye and went back to his own home. Danny sat down at his vanity and wiped of his make up. His took off his wig and put it away. Then, he walked over to our bed and lay down beside me.
"I missed you so much, baby!" I told him and kissed him. He kissed me back and smiled.
"I missed you too, sweetheart." Danny replied, smiling brightly. We cuddled and soon fell asleep.
-The Next Morning-
Danny's POV
I gently shook Luna to wake her up. She opened her eyes and turned to face me.
"How are you awake before me?" She asked with a smile. I shrugged my shoulders and kissed her.
"I have a free day, so we can just sit around and watch movies if you want." I told her, sitting up in bed and stretching. She sat up as well.
"That would be really cool. Help me get to the couch, please." She replied, carefully throwing her legs over the side of the bed. I stood up and walked over to her side. I helped her stand up and put her arm on my shoulder so that I could support her as she walked from the bedroom to the couch. She groaned in pain a few times along the way, but eventually we made it. After helping her sit down on the couch, I sat down beside her and grabbed the TV remote.
"What do you want to watch?" I asked her.
"Hmm... How about RuPaul's Drag Race season 6?" She replied, grinning. I laughed and kissed her on the cheek.
"How did I guess? I should've known you'd want to watch my season." I laughed. She reached out and grabbed my hand, lacing our fingers. I turned on the TV and pulled up RuPaul's Drag Race on our Amazon Fire Stick.
"I absolutely love that blue hair on Adore." Luna said as we watched the entrances of the 1st group of queens.
"Awww, she looks so scared." She said, commenting on the facial expression I made when RuPaul told me that we would be jumping into a foam pit for our photoshoot.
"My eyelash!" Adore said after her first jump into the pit. I looked over at Luna and she started laughing.
"I'm sorry, I'm a giraffe!" Adore screamed when Mike told her that her legs were awkward in the pose. That earned another laugh from Luna. Watching her watch me on TV was so cute. She laughed at every little comment I made, just like she does in real life.
"Did you hear that Dahli Delia auditioned for season 9?" Luna asked.
"I doubt she'll make it." I answered.
"I love you so much for that!" Luna replied, laughing hysterically. I laughed and smiled before turning my attention back to the TV.
"You're going to hate me for saying this, but I think Dahli Delia's drag style is a mix between Adore Delano and Sharon Needles." Luna said randomly as we were watching.
"I'm so offended that you would even say that." I replied dramatically.
"I'm sorry, but that's just how I see it!" She said, throwing her hands up.
"Actually, I can kinda see that. I'll still be offended if you ever say that again though. I'm nothing like that horrible excuse for a human being." I told her, pouting with my arms crossed.
"Of course not! You're so kind and caring, and you'd never do anything stupid on an impulse like that. I love you so much, Danny. You've always been there when I needed you, and you've never let me down. You're a better guy than any girl could ever dream of. I'm so lucky that you're mine. I'll never let you go." Luna replied.
"Aww, baby, don't make me cry!" I said before pulling her into a tight side hug. She kissed my cheek and rested her head on my shoulder. We continued to watch season 6 until Luna fell asleep. I got up and started making dinner.
"Aww, she's so cute when she's sleeping." I said to myself as I looked over at her from where I was standing in the kitchen. I sat our plates out on the table and walked over to Luna. I leaned over and kissed her softly, and she opened her pretty blue eyes.
"Dinner is ready, sweetheart." I told her. She put her hands on my face and kissed me. I smiled at her and stood up, reaching my hands out to help her off of the couch to the kitchen table. I wish every day could be this perfect.
