Danny's POV
As we pulled into the driveway of our house, I got a phone call. I looked at the caller I.D. and saw that it was Roy Haylock aka Bianca Del Rio.
"Hey, old man!" I answered excitedly. Roy groaned.
"You're so childish, Danny. Like a toddler." He replied with a laugh. It would've sounded harsh to anyone else, but I knew he was joking.
"Meanie." I pouted. This made him laugh again.
"2 year old. Anyway, what are you doing tonight?" Roy asked.
"Nothing at all." I sighed.
"Well, maybe we should hang out. I still haven't met this girl you've been dating." He told me, sounding as if he were scolding me.
"Come over then! We're not doing anything tonight but sitting around my house." I replied. I looked over at Luna and she was staring at me curiously, trying to figure out who I was talking to. I just smiled at her.
"Okay, Dannyboy. I'll be there in like 20 minutes." Roy said. We then said goodbye to each other and hung up.
"Del Taco is coming over to hang out." I told Luna as we finally got out of the car.
"Bianca?" She asked. I nodded, and she screamed in excitement.
"Calm down!" I laughed as she jumped up and down. I grabbed her shoulders to stop her.
"Oh wow, I really want pizza. I think we should get pizza." I said, feeling my stomach growl.
"Pepperoni?" She asked, smiling.
"You know me so well, baby girl." I replied and called in our pizza. We sat down at our kitchen table to wait, deciding not to bring her stuff into the house until tomorrow.
"I wonder who will get here first, Roy or the pizza delivery guy!" Luna said and we both laughed.
After a few minutes, we heard the doorbell. I walked over and opened the door. Roy smiled and waved at me, and I tackled him in a hug.
"Come in. We ordered pizza and it should be here in a few minutes." I told him once I let go.
"If there was a day when I didn't see Danny Noriega eating pizza, I'd be worried." Roy replied as he walked into the house. A huge smile came across his face as he saw Luna.
"Roy, this is Luna. She's a huge fan of Drag Race, so she knows who you are." I explained to him.
"I'm so glad I finally get to meet you!" He told her and gave her a hug. She was smiling like a child on Christmas.
"I loved you on season 6! I'm so happy that I'm meeting you in person. Someone pinch me, I think I'm dreaming!" Luna said dramatically. The doorbell rang again and I opened it to see a pizza delivery guy standing there. I paid for our pizza and sat it down on the kitchen table.
"Let me guess... Pepperoni?" Roy asked. Luna giggled and nodded.
"It wouldn't be Danny if it wasn't pepperoni. Actually, Danny and I both love pepperoni, so it works out perfectly. We never argue about pizza." She replied with a smile, grabbing my hand. We all sat there and ate our pizza until we were full.
"Wanna watch something on Netflix?" I asked them as I got up from my seat at the table.
"Might as well kill some time." Roy replied.
"You don't like hanging out with me?" I pouted and Roy rolled his eyes.
"How old are you? 2?" He said sarcastically.
"How old are you? 60?" I replied with a smirk. Luna put her hands over her mouth in an attempt to keep herself from laughing.
"Really, queen? Go sit down and shut up, Danny. You're so childish." He told me as he walked over to the couch and sat down, waiting on us. Luna practically flew to the couch so that she could sit between us. She was absolutely loving having another drag queen in the room.
"Babe, you're supposed to be resting your body, not running around like an escaped convict." I laughed. She pouted and crossed her arms.
"I wonder where she picked up that little move from. Couldn't possibly be you, you never act like that." Roy replied sarcastically. Luna laughed hysterically. I rolled my eyes and sat down beside her. She immediately cuddled up to me, and that made me smile. I kissed her forehead and threw the remote to Roy, letting him pick whatever he wanted to watch. I knew Luna would fall asleep soon anyway, so I wanted him to have the choice of movie. Soon, as predicted, Luna was asleep in my arms. Roy looked over at her and smiled.
"She's a little ball of energy, but once she's settled down, it doesn't take her long to fall asleep." He said quietly.
"She wears herself out. I think it's actually pretty adorable." I replied with a smile.
"I have to say, Danny. I've never seen you act like this. You're the one who always loves being the center of attention, but when you're with her, you make sure everyone's eyes are on her." He told me, making me smile even more.
"Thank you, Roy. That's so nice of you to say." I replied.
"Don't get used to it." He retorted. We both laughed. He may not show it very often, but Roy is actually a very nice person. I picked Luna up carefully and carried her to our bed. I lay her down and quietly walked back to the living room. I sat back down on the couch with Roy and turned my attention to whatever movie he was playing. We just sat there watching movies and occasionally talking for hours.
"Well, I should go. I've got a gig tomorrow and I need all the sleep I can get." Roy said as he stood up. I stood as well and hugged him.
"Don't wait 6 months to come see me again." I smiled.
"I'm sorry, Danny. I was really busy touring." He apologized.
"I know, I get it. Don't stress, just come see me more often." I replied and hugged him again. After that, he left and I walked back to my bedroom. I opened the door and Luna was still asleep. I quietly closed the door and climbed in beside her. I cuddled up to her, and soon, I was falling asleep.
