Amery woke up and she felt terrible. Her head hurt and she had a running nose and her stomach hurt. She tried opening her eyes but the sunlight made her eyes hurt.  She sat up a little and she sneezed. She groaned and lay back down under the covers. She closed her eyes and heard the door open.

“Amery come up wake up you have school?” said one of the maids, Tracy.

“I don’t feel good” said Amery holding her stomach and she coughed in her hands.

“Come on you have to get up” said Tracy and pulled her covers back. She went to touch her, but she felt she was really warm. She touched her forehead with the back of her hand and she left the room quickly. Amery got up and threw up in the toilet. When she was done, she flushed and went back to bed, pulling the covers over her.

The door opened and Tracy came back in, holding a thermometer.  “Amery come on open your mouth I need to take your temperature”

Amery opened her mouth and Tracy put the thermometer under her tongue and Amery closed her mouth. A minute passed and the thermometer read 100.7. Tracy went out the room. Amery was laying there until the door opened again. She would’ve smelled her mate’s scent but her nose was too stuffy.

“Amery baby what’s wrong” asked Ryder. First time she heard and saw his soft side and she couldn’t help but smile inside.

“I don’t feel good” said Amery holding her stomach. Ryder felt her forehead and then her face.

“You’re really warm. Tracy what’s her temperature?” asked Ryder still feeling warm places on Amery

“It’s 100.7. She should be fine in  three days probably, she just has a fever” said Tracy

“Alright Amery stay home from school, I don’t want you out of bed. Tracy makes sure you give her medicine. I’ll be back later in the afternoon” said Ryder and gave Amery a kiss on the forehead.

Ryder talked to Tracy while walking him out and she went to get medicine, made breakfast and brought it up to Amery. Amery ate her small breakfast and took her medicine and she went back to sleep. The day went by and Tracy was still checking up on Amery and did the rest of the housework.

It was the afternoon and Amery was laying down resting and eating soup with bread. Randy and Natalia came by with their mates and visited her and dropped off her homework and went back to school. She got along with Tracy and they became good friends. Amery was laying down sleeping until she felt sharp pains in her lower stomach. She sat and took deep breaths.
She started feeling sick in her stomach, and a little nauseous. She got out of bed and ran to the bathroom and threw up the substances and fluids in her stomach. Her stomach started to get worse and she crawled on the floor to the bedroom. She tried standing up but the pain started to spread all around in her stomach. Amery screamed crying holding on to her stomach.

“Amery what’s wrong!?” panicked Tracy barging through the door and looking at her with worry and concerned looks.

“It hurts. It hurts so bad, make it stop please” cried Amery shutting her eyes and tears rolling out of her eyes. Tracy laid her on her back and she pressed two fingers on her stomach and Amery pushed her hands away crying more.

“Oh my gosh…Patrick!” yelled Tracy and Patrick ran in the room looking around for danger.

“What’s going on?” asked Patrick and saw Amery crying holding her stomach.
