Amery was woken up and she sat up against someone. She was held in arms and heard someone talking to her, but she was too out of it.
Five minutes later she came to, and she was sitting in the living room on the couch. She looked around and was confused. Suddenly everything came back to her and she saw the man known as her Uncle. He sort of did look like her mother. She felt a powerful aura from him.
"Are you okay princess?" her uncle asked her and she was still confused. "Has she shown any sort of power?" her Uncle asked and her father said no.
"She has shown nothing at all" said Bryan.
"She is fine. But for now on I want to hear calls. I'll be checking in with her. I should go now. In the meantime be careful" he spoke and with that he disappeared in the air. How powerful was her uncle? Was he a witch or what? Disappearing in air like that, there's no way he's a wolf.
*1 Week later*
Amery was at the school office helping to organize some papers. She had a free period for her 6th so she volunteered to help around the school. She started knowing the staff more and she was allowed to eat in the staff lounge. Amery looked at the clock and the bell was to ring in 10 minutes. She finished up what she was doing and and headed to her car, to the pack house.
When Amery got there she walked in the house and the kids said hi and gave her a hug. She was happy. They finally had manners or were starting to learn and understand life and tje much needed discipline. She walked down the hall and turned two corners and walked in the Library, and saw some of the kids working and helping each other with their homework. She smiled and walked back to the living room.
"Hey Amery" said Jackson and gave her a side hug and Amery gave him a hug back.
"Hey what's going on?" asked Amery going to the kitchen and Jackson following her.
"Well I heard there's some dinner happening tonight with Tamika and Alpha Ryder. Other gossip, is Ryder is holding off the marraige ceremony. He's been so busy with Bryan, those two train the warriors so hard. We've gotten stronger and faster and we think clearly before doing it twice. I think Ryder is taking his anger out on us" said Jackson eating a cheese bit out of the bag.
Amery nodded and ate a cheese bit. It was true. Ryder and Tamika were fading and Bryan and him became more serious, and their pack has gotten stronger. She recently found out Ryder and Bryan aren't the important kings. They are just strong rulers. With both of them together, the Black Shadow pack which they now call it, is the most feared in the nation. They are King of the werewolves, or soon to be. The coucil is still deciding, who is next, and can be a true leader to all werewolves. There was also a Vampire King, but she didn't know much about him, not even if their were other kings.
"Amery there is a letter from the school" said Adrian and she looked through the other mail of discount coupons.
Amery opened the letter and read through it and gasped loudly. Jackson and Adrian came closer with worried expressions.
"Lu-Amery is everything okay?" asked Adrian.
"It's an honor roll. They are having a banquet Friday at 6pm to 8pm. I'm getting a reward along with other students of the school" explained Amery reading over the paper.
"Omg congrats Amery!! I'm so happy for you! You worked so hard!" smiled Adrian and gave her a big hug.
"Yeah so am I. So is it like a sit and watch or what?" asked Jackson giving her a hug.
"It's a sit and eat thing. I have to call and RSVP before Thursday. Do you guys want to come?" asked Amery
"Sure we'd love to" said Jackson and Adrian together. Those two were mates but instead of all over each other sucking each other's faces off, they gave each other space, but made sure they showed they love each other.
Amery decided to start her science project. She grabbed her utensils and went outside to the backyard. Jackson and Adrian were helping since they were her assigned as their partners. It took and hour for them to figure out a 5 minute way to make three different types of soil to become ash without using fire from a match or anything like that.
"Okay are you sure this would work?" asked Jackson.
"I hope so, the electricity should work with...whatever you did...to burn the dirt into ash" said Amery. They tried the experiment with fingers crossed after working hard trying multiples of times. They waited watching the cord on fire, wearing their goggles. Soon there was an explosion. Jackson held the camera to catch everything. What was shocking was the fire was a blue electric. The fire kept going like it was a thunder zap, but it kept getting bigger.
Amery screamed as the fire was getting closer to her. She was pulled back. She couldn't pull away from the person's arms and her eyes couldn't pull away from the fired energy. The fire died after 5 minutes later.
They rushed to the big pots of different soils. Amery put her glove on and tested all three soils and laughed with joy when they were all ash but different colors. Amery smiled and they showed all the soils on the camera and put them in separate testing tubes and put them in a bag.
They finished the project and Adrian was going to bring the tubes to school tomorrow, Jackson was going to work on putting the video together, and Amery was going to put the summary report together. Amery worked and worked with the research and putting the portfolio together. She was the only one up and everyone else went to sleep. It was one in the morning and she was finally done. She was waiting for Ryder or Bryan to come get her to bring her home, but they never showed. Amery sat on the couch in the living room. She smiled as her report was perfectly done for an A. She then dosed off to sleep knocking out to the dark world.

While Amery was sleeping Bryan and Ryder came in. They were tired and dirty but other than that, fine. They went to the living room and saw Amery sleeping peacfully with cute light snores. Ryder scooped her up in his arms careful not to wake her. Bryan saw a letter and then a portfolio. He read the letter and smiled to himself. He had a smart mate, he thought when he read through the portfolio. The brothers took Amery home and they got ready for bed, and they fell asleep.
Tomorrow they were going to congratulate Amery on her school education.
