Chapter 4

Aiden drove an abandoned container port in. (Y/n) looked around. It was the perfect hiding place, but she had a feeling that this wasn't her home. Somehow she just wanted to go back to her apartment and pick up her old life, but she knows she can't. Maurice wouldn't miss a second time. That is what she thought. She had no idea what is really going on.

"We're here!" Aiden turned off the engine and (y/n) got out.
"(Y/n)"
"T-Bone" (y/n) ran up to him and flew him around his neck.
"What have I missed you!" She said.
"Me too" T-Bone looked at her.
"You've grown. And the years have you done well. You are a beautiful young woman. Isn't she, Aiden?" T-Bone looked at Aiden. He shrugged and T-Bone laughed. "When I saw you for the last?" Asked T-Bone.
"At the funeral of (name of brother)" said (y/n).
"That's right. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer"
"It doesn't matter. I'm glad to see you again" (y/n) embraced T-Bone. Jordi broke the moment and introduced himself. He congratulated (y/n) with her talent. Only Aiden wasn't happy.
"Can we get to the point that we are going to tell her about her and her brother? If Dedsec calling, I must bring her" (y/n) looked at Aiden.
"Dedsec? Why should I go to Dedsec?"
"(Y/n). Sit down. We need to tell you something" (y/n) sat down and waited until T-Bone started.

Meanwhille ...

"Fucking idiots!" Yelled Maurice angry. He wasn't happy.
"Sorry, boss!"
"Find her!"
"Where should we start?"
"That's your problem! Find her! I want to have her here with me!" Maurice was furious. His friends were shaking on their legs, but still can leave the building quickly. Maurice could not believe that (y/n) escapes. Again!
"I must have Dedsec!"
" 'Have' is a big word" David said.
"Only she can give me Dedsec and you know it" said Maurice.
"And how are you gonna take than from her?! Simple ask will not help"
"Threatening brings a lot of miracles" said Maurice.
"And who are you going to threaten? She hasn't much that you can threaten. You can't find T-Bone. And her brother was the only family she has left. It would be wonderful if she would grow to Aiden and you can threaten him"
"That will never happen. Aiden want to get rid of her. No. We must find T-Bone"
"Good luck with that" said David and left Maurice alone.

Back at T-Bone's place ...

(y/n) sat out on the quay. She had to recover from the whole story she heard. Her brother gave Dedsec to her and that is why Maurice couldn't kill her. Is that the reason he shot (name of brother) down? Tears fell at the thought of him.

"Everything ok?" (Y/n) turned around. Aiden stood behind her.
"No" said (y/n) for she turned back.
"You don't understand the whole thing, isn't it?"

(y/n) was silent. She could understand nothing of it. All this time she thought her brother gave her to Maurice, just to stay in the apartment, was just because Maurice wanted Dedsec and (name of brother) refused to give it to him. But there are so many things that aren't clear to her. Why killed Maurice her brother? What has been said that one fateful day that she went to her work? So many questions and so little time. It made (y/n) furious. She wanted to give everything up. She wanted to throw her cell phone in the water, as Aiden didn't sit next to her, put an arm over her and calmed her down.

"I can understand that it's all so complicated. When T-Bone told me, I couldn't believe it was true"
"There are so many things I don't understand. Why did Maurice bother us? We weren't the only heirs who was still alive? Do we? And now I'm the only one?"
"I can't answer that. Only Dedsec can"

(y/n) sighed. She didn't want to speak to them. She didn't want to be the leader of Dedsec. Why would she give up her life for a life, which she at first only could dream of. A few years back she always said she would like to lead Dedsec one day. But now she thinks very differently about that dream. Especially since the death of (name of brother). She wanted nothing to do with Dedsec. They have left her alone. Aiden's cell phone went off. He saw that Dedsec called and looked at (y/n). She sighed and shrugged.

"Did you find her?"
"Yes. She is sitting here beside me "
"Can we talk to her for a minute?" Aiden gave his cell phone at (y/n). She sighed and took it.
"Let me first make myself clear! All the time my brother and I have lived in that building, we have never had any problems. I have my brother cheer up each morning, simply because he don't get too depressed for the rest of the day. I have a month less eaten, to let him go to a spa retreat, where he could relax. I have made sure that he didn't commit suicide. I went with fright at my work and hoped that I would see my brother alive, when I got home. So tell me rather why I did everything of that!" Tears fell down her cheeks.
"(Y/n). We are sorry for ..."
"Who is Maurice? What needs he? Why was he bothering us? Why killed he my brother? And above all: Why don't you have personally told us about this?!" Aiden looked up. (y/n) was angry and she shouted at Dedsec. He shouldn't try that.
"If you come to us, we'll tell you everything"
"And why not now?"
"Because this is important and we don't want Maurice hear all this"
"And that is why you expect me to come to you! Forget it! I'll find answers myself!" (y/n) took off and handed the phone back to Aiden.
"Where do you start looking?" He asked.
"No idea. But I find them. I'm not going to Dedsec" (y/n) stood up and walked away. Aiden followed her.
"You are not going alone! Maurice is looking for you!"
"Good. Can he tell me his side of the story" Aiden stopped her.
"You stay here!"
"And how are you going to stop me?" Aiden pulled his gun out and pointed it at (y/n).
"You wouldn't dare!"
"No. But if you run away now, I shoot you in the leg" (y/n) looked at him.
"What do you want me to do?" She asked.
"Call Dedsec and tell them you come!"
"Over my dead body!" (Y/n) spread her arms.
"Shoot!" Aiden looked at her. He lowered his weapon.
"I thought so" (y/n) walked along past him and ran away. Aiden turned and ran after her behind. A few yards away, he caught up with her and tackled her to the ground.
"Let me go, asshole!"
"I'm sorry that I do this, (y/n). But this is for your own best"
"You sorry? You sounded very different when you walked inside the building"
"Do you think I'm doing this for fun?! I don't want anything to happen to you!" (y/n) was silent. Aiden reduced his hold on her. "You shouldn't go to Dedsec, if you don't want it. But please come back inside. I don't want lose someone again I care about!"
"You don't care about me! You want to get rid of me" said (y/n).
"You think?! I have to make something good! I can't save my niece, but I can save you! Take that from me!" It hit (y/n) as a sledgehammer. She was silent and Aiden noticed it. He let her go. (y/n) looked at him.
"I ... I didn't know ..." (y/n) paused when she saw the pain in Aiden's eyes.
"I'm sorry"
"Me too. I shouldn't have tackled you so hard" Aiden stood up and helped (y/n) up.
"What happened?" Asked (y/n).
"Can we go inside? It's already past midnight" Aiden said.

(y/n) could guess that he doesn't like talking about, so she kept silent. But it was bothering her. She couldn't sleep and was tossing and turning in her bed. She stood up. She was lucky. Aiden was still awake. He looked at the monitors, who had the area in sight.

"You need your rest"
"I couldn't sleep, Dad!" (Y/n) chuckled. She made Aiden laugh.
"It's the first time I see you laugh?" Said (y/n) and sat down beside him.
"Not many can do that"
"Glad I'm one of them" said (y/n).
"Don't get used too much"
"I bet I succeeds again?"

Aiden looked away. He couldn't hold his laughter any longer.

"Come. Smile! For me?" (Y/n) She looked at Aiden with her puppy eyes. She also used it to her brother. And it worked. When Aiden looked back at her, he laughed. "I told you so!" (Y/n) laughed.
"Where did you learn that?" Asked Aiden.
"I used it with my brother. And it also works for you" Aiden laughed again.
"You're much more beautiful when you smile. You know that?" Asked (y/n).

Aiden looked away. (y/n) blushed and grinned again.
