Chapter 14

It took very long for (y/n) had fallen asleep. She was still in shock and Jordi has tried everything to calm her down. The best was leave her alone. T-Bone has told her nothing of the fight he had with Aiden. Jordi wanted to tell, but the angry look of T-Bone made sure he kept his mouth, even if he can't keep it longer. It made him mad! (y/n) has the right to know. Jordi was able to pull his hair out. And it made it any easier for him when Aiden came along for his coat. Aiden his gaze was terrifying. The devil himself would get the shivers. And rightly so, Jordi finds.

Without a word, T-Bone gave back the coat. Aiden turned and looked at Jordi. Who shook his head. Aiden know enough. He left the hideout.

"This is a bad idea" Jordi said.

T-Bone didn't say a word. He didn't want to argue about something Jordi has nothing to say about. Aiden doesn't come close to (y/n) and T-Bone went personally to provide it.

Aiden had an empty feeling. A pain in his heart that is indescribable. He held his tears against, but he lost and they still fell down his cheeks. Aiden is a tough one, but when it comes to family and beloved, he can cry rivers of tears. On the death of Lena he separated himself also. He overcame it then. But now it's back. A sign that (y/n) means a lot to him. This time he wanted to talk about it. And preferably with his sister Nicky.

"Is Jackson home?" Asked Aiden after the door opened.
"No. He is by a friend "
"Good. He must not know this "
"You all right?" Asked Nicky. She saw the traces of tears on his face.
"Can I come in?"

Aiden did his best not to show that he was broken. Nicky saw it clearly. She hugged him and took him inside.

Aiden sat at the table and told everything. Who (y/n) was, what happened and what the reason is T-Bone will kill him. He really told everything. Nicky don't say a word. That Aiden would ask her to marry him, made her speechless and set her to thinking.

"Now it's over. It makes no sense to call her. I don't know what to do "
"For her fight" said Nicky.
"I don't know"
"What is with you, Aiden? I don't know you! This isn't you! You've wasted your energy to find the killer of Lena! Why would you do nothing for your own happiness ?! "

Aiden looked at her. She's right. But ... he's scared. T-Bone will kill him. Who assures him that he leave her alone? Who says T-Bone is really going to make sure they don't see each other anymore?!

"Hey, Uncle"
"Hey, Jackson"
"What is up? You don't look so well? Everything right? "
"Sure. Nothing special. You still text with (y/n)? "
"Yes, every day"
"Now too?"
"No. Oddly enough not now "Jackson said.

Aiden looked at Nicky. She knew enough. Aiden stood up.

"Thank you for listening and support" Aiden laughed.
"(y/n) resembles you. She listen as good as you "Aiden left the house.
"Mom! What's wrong with Uncle Aiden? "
"Nothing, honey" Nicky laughed and went to the kitchen. Jackson took his mobile phone and call (y/n).

~ At the hideout ~

"(y/n)"
"Hey, Jordi"
"Everything alright?"
"No. Not really. Aiden is not there. And according to T-Bone, he doesn't come. He wanted to work for himself. Without me saying anything "
"I think he is afraid that something bad will happen to you as long as you're around him" Jordi said. (y/n) silent.
"Anyway. Here's your mobile phone. He went off, so ... "

(y/n) took the phone to. Immediately he went off. (y/n) answered.

"(y/n)! Finally! "
"Jackson! Calm down! What's wrong? "
"Uncle Aiden's been here. He looked broken! You don't have a fight? "
"It's quite complicated to explain. But I don't know what happened to him. I haven't seen him since yesterday evening "
"My mother wanted tell nothing "
"I assure you I have no fight. Believe me! "
"I believe you" Jackson said.
"Hey, Jackson. If you see Aiden again, will you say to him that he should call me?"
"I will" Jackson said.
"Thank you. You're a sweetheart "

(y/n) took off and lowered her head.

"Aiden is gone to his sister. I had expected "
"How do you mean?"
"I ... I can't say"
"Jordi! Tell me "
"I really can't!"
"Jordi!"

Jordi looked away. He dared not to say it, but it will destroy him inside. It eats him up. He felt (y/n) 's eyes burning.

"T-Bone sent Aiden away! He blamed him for everything! T-Bone went too far by saying that Aiden can't make you happy and Aiden thrown this on the table! "

Jordi threw the box at (y/n). She caught it and opened it. The white gold ring with a diamond in the middle, sparkled in her eyes. Her breath was stabbing her throat.

"I can bear it no longer! I don't want Aiden do something to himself if he loses you! You haven't heard this from me! I had to keep my mouth by T-Bone! (y/n)! Look for Aiden! I can't stay here any longer! If there is something: you need a car or a place to sleep, call me! You have my number! "

Jordi left her room and walked to his car. (y/n) remained. She tried to understand everything, but the only thing that catch her thoughts was that Aiden wanted to ask her to marry him, and T-Bone kept that against. She sank to her knees on the ground and began to weep. She couldn't believe it! Why could T-Bone do such a thing ?! Why?! She heard Jordi starting. She looked up. Then she packed her belongings and left the room.

"Where are you going?" Asked T-Bone.

(y/n) silent. T-Bone grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back.

"How could you?"
"I just want you to be safe!"

(y/n) shook her head and walked to her car. T-Bone wanted to stop her, but (y/n) pointed a gun at him.

"Don't try to stop me!"
"(y/n)! I want to ... "
"This would never have favored my brother! You're no better than Maurice! Let me go! I don't want to see you! "

T-Bone looked defeated. He watched her as she got into her car and drove away. T-Bone was beaten back. He got a guilt feeling in his heart.
