Chapter 11

Aiden wanted to stay longer than he first had in mind. He has missed Jackson and (y/n)noted that. He is not the don't-piss-me-off Aiden which she was accustomed. He was now a quiet and calm man and it seems like this could be the end of Aiden if he never ended up in the hacker world. (y/n) was appreciated to Jackson and his friends. Especially since she could tell good stories and therefore could captivate the kids.

"So ... you and (y/n) ..."
"You see things faster than I" Aiden said.
"It is written on your face"
"Is it?"
"The way you look at her and you happier temperament? Yes, "said Nicky.

Aiden laughed. She was right, and T-Bone said the same thing about (y/n). He watched (y/n) portrayed her story. The children were fascinated. They didn't want to leave earlier, for (y/n) had finished her story.

"(y/n). Can I talk to you alone? "(y/n) nodded and walked after Nicky into her house.
"Aiden tells me about the two of you"
"Really?" (y/n) sounded frightened and surprised at the same time.
"Don't worry. I don't mind. My brother is very visible when you are near him. I don't recognize him anymore "joked Nicky.
"But how have you managed to make him laugh? I try that since the death of Lena "
"He told me about" (y/n) looked up.
"I'm sorry"
"It's ok" Nicky forced a smile.
"I don't know what I do, but I can tell you I can make him laugh any moment. Watch this "(y/n) turned around and called Aiden. He looked up.
"Will we go by the store? I had to go get something to T-Bone "Aiden nodded.
"Thank you, Aiden. You're such a sweetheart "Aiden blushed and laughed.
"See?" Nicky laughed, making Aiden and Jackson watched.
"And how do you do this?" Asked Nicky.
"No idea. But I swear to you, I have fun with this "
"Is it about me?" (y/n) turned around.
"Will you stop that ?!"
"Stop what?"
"Give me a heart attack. That's the second one "(y/n) glared at him.
"Then you have to catch up"
"Oh, I will catch it up!" (y/n) pushed her fist into his belly. Then she went to the garden to pick a piece of cake.
"Hey, (y/n)"
"What's the matter, Jackson?"
"Do I have to call you now aunt (y/n)?" (y/n) looked up.
"N-no ... if you don't want it. Technically, I'm not married to your uncle "said (y/n), a little surprised by what Jackson asked.
"And if you get married?" Asked Jackson.

(y/n) choked on her drink and started to cough. That question overwhelmed her.

"Everything ok?" Asked Jackson.

(y/n) nodded and tried to catch her breath.

"I didn't expect this" said (y/n). Jackson laughed.
"If it ever comes to that - and I say if - then is the choice to you," said (y/n).

~ Time skip ~

Aiden was waiting in the car. (y/n) said she would be back soon. Aiden was texting with Jackson. Aiden asked why that (y/n) so began to cough and Jackson explained that she choked on her drink when he asked her to marry him. Jackson was the most honest guy who Aiden knew.

"We can go" said (y/n) after they stepped in.
"Did Jackson really asked you to marry me?" (y/n) froze.
"He asked that because I said he was not obliged to call me aunt since I'm technically not married with you!" Defended (y/n).
"I didn't know that children of his age, could be honest and straight forward "
"That's Jackson"
"He looks a lot like his uncle," said (y/n).
"Thank you"

(y/n) rolled her eyes and laughed.

~ At the hideout ~

"Thank you, (y/n)" said T-Bone.
"A little effort" said (y/n).

Jordi told (y/n) that he had someone on the phone who had intercepted an audio file from her brother. (y/n) laughed. She knew that (name of brother) recorded audio files. She never heard them. Jordi sent her and Aiden down on the person.

"This gives us more time," said Jordi, after (y/n) and Aiden were gone.
"Do you think she suspect anything?"
"No," said T-Bone.
"And I want to keep it so"
"Where to begin?" asked Jordi.
"Is that caller traced?" Asked T-Bone.
"No," Jordi said.
"Then we have to find out ourselves what Maurice knows" said T-Bone.
"I grab my sniper" Jordi said.

~ Time skip ~

"Is this 'find out ourself' you define? Bother Maurice? "Said Jordi.
"I'm still not tired of life!"
"Neither do I, but this is about (y/n) and we do it for her!" Bite T-Bone.

Jordi growled. He knows that (y/n) is extremely important, but this is going too far.

"If you don't like it, you can also go home," said T-Bone.
"I say nothing!" Jordi said.

T-Bone led the way toward the apartment building.

"And yet I think this is a bad idea," muttered Jordi and followed T-Bone.

~ At (y/n) and Aiden ~

The man, who has an audio file, didn't look friendly.

"You have something important to me," said (y/n).
"That remains to be seen," said the man, who looked better at (y/n).
"What's in it for me?"

(y/n) grabbed her gun and pointed it at the man. Aiden was impressed and made no move to stop her.

"It gives you that I let you live! I don't make deals when it comes to things from me or my family! So if you love your life, I would give me that audio file! Otherwise I will shoot you and I take it by myself!"

The man held his hands up and begged for mercy. Then he took his mobile phone and sent the intercepted audio file to the mobile phone of (y/n). She made clear to him that he must go. The man let him not say twice and ran away quickly. (y/n) and Aiden sat in the car and (y/n) played the file:

'Audio File (name of brother) (l / n). My first day on non-active. Shit! I never knew it was so hard to let go Dedsec. And then they say it's an addiction and that Dedsec includes criminals. Fuck ctOS! Dedsec is family and after (y/n) and T-Bone I do not have much family left. (y/n). Barely 10. What child loss at such a young age her parents? I'm 20 and I'm almost over it... even though I know it's reaches me sooner or later for my throat. (y/n) supposed to be in school, playing with friends, or doing things that girls are supposed to do her age. What does she do? She don't go to school because she want to stay with me. And what do I do? I let her! I will give her lesson. She will not miss any material that she would normally get at a school. Besides ... I am planning to learn to hack her. Dedsec approved it, so that's one problem out of the way. T-Bone will help me teach her. First I want to comfort (y/n) as possible. Tomorrow is the funeral. This is gonna be a tough time'

Tears fell on the screen of her mobile phone, when it stopped. She missed his voice.

"I remember this. He sat there for his laptop and I was a little girl stared at him until he was ready. Then I asked who he was talking to "laughed (y/n). Aiden hugged her.

"I miss him, Aiden. I miss him so fucking hard!"
"I know," Aiden said.

(y/n) took him tightly and weepeth into his shoulder. Aiden knew he couldn't calm her, so he let her cry.
