Chapter 5

(y/n) eventually go back to sleep, at the urging of Aiden. She didn't at first, but when she noticed that she was exhausted, she has gone to bed. She slept better than before. Aiden is not as bad as he look like. He's just ... hard and (y/n) respects him. She didn't want to find out what happened to his niece. If he wants it, Aiden will tell her. (y/n) know how it feels to lose a family member and she know how people react when you ask out.
She was awakened by a fight. It sounded serious. (y/n) stood up and walked out of her room. Half asleep, she looked at T-Bone, Aiden and Jordi. They didn't realize that she was awake and stood behind them.

"No!"
"We can't!" Jordi said.
"Then she goes alone" Aiden said.
"Are you crazy ?!" said T-Bone.
"I'm not a babysitter or a bodyguard!" Aiden said.
"Just go get her arms! Do you think I admit that you continue tackling her?!" T-Bone was angry. Jordi agreed with him.
"What's the matter?" Asked (y/n). All three they looked at her.
"Good morning" Jordi said.
"That remains to be seen" said (y/n).
"What are you doing? And yes! You have made me wake up"
"Sorry (y/n)" said T-Bone.
"We were in a small discussion" Jordi said.
"About what?"
"We were thinking that it would be better if you could have weapons"
"Mine are in the apartment" said (y/n).
"We thought so. That's why we want you to go buy new. Someone needs to come with you, but T-Bone and I can't go with you. The problem is: Aiden wont go with you" Jordi said.
"Then he has a problem. When I leave, he trips me and T-Bone go after him. That or he goes with me"

(y/n) looked at Aiden. Aiden growled. He was angry. He wouldn't go. (y/n) continued to look at him.

"Are you going to use your puppy eyes now?"
"Tonight, you were a lot friendlier" said (y/n).
"Aiden. Please! You know the best shop in town "Jordi said.

Aiden sighed and finally admitted. (y/n) laughed before she withdrew into her room and got dressed. The 'little discussion' as Jordi has expressed it, has ceased. (y/n) returned. She had a blue jean-pants, black sneakers, a hunting shirt and a black leather jacket. Around her neck hung a necklace with a heart and over her shoulder a silver bag*.

"Ready?" Asked (y/n).
"It must be" Aiden said.
"I give you a reason to go" (y/n) grip the cap of Aiden and put it on.
"You get it back if we are on the way" Aiden sighed and laughed.
"There's that smile again" said (y/n).
"It suits you. Better than Aiden "Jordi said.

(y/n) flaunted and showed it around, like a model. Aiden admitted that Jordi was right. After T-Bone had given money, Aiden and (y/n) went to the car and left. As promised, (y/n) gave the cap back.

"Aren't you afraid of losing that?" Asked Aiden. He saw (y/n) playing with her necklace.
"No. It brings me luck" (y/n) opened the heart-shaped pendant. There were put two pictures in. One of her parents and one of her brother.
"T-Bone made this for me. He gave it to me at the funeral of my brother. I never got the chance to go to a jeweler on my own. Maurice always kept an eye on me and I was never allowed going outside without two of his friends next to me"
"You lived in captivity"
"So you could call it, yes"

~ Time skip ~

Aiden drove into an alley and parked the car. Through a back door, they came in the shop.

"I would recommend you a Spec Ops 1911 and an SVD. Further, the choice is yours"
"Can you also buy materials for smoke bombs?"
"No. But further on there's a pawnshop where you can buy it" said the man behind the counter.

(y/n) laughed and paid her arms. After that, Aiden and (y/n) drove to the pawnshop for the necessities.

"Apparently you can also buy Lure's and Jam Coms" said (y/n).
"Always good to have" said Aiden, who was searching for himself.
