Chapter 10

A/N: This chapter takes place two months after the previous chapter

(y/n) still needs to get used to the idea that she leads Dedsec. In the two months which have passed, She has led six meetings. She gave the order to keep an eye on ctOS. She also gave permission to shadow a staff member and to film through his hidden camera the meetings of ctOS. She herself has asked someone inside Dedsec to shadow Maurice. She didn't say why, but Dedsec know the reason, even though they didn't tell her.

(y/n) is happy with Aiden and T-Bone can clearly see the difference when she first came in here and now. Aiden makes sure that her stress level is not peaks too many and (y/n) enjoys his company. She's already busy enough. Especially now that she decided to protect Dedsec better. In other words, ctOS may not find Dedsec and its members!

"Wouldn't you go to sleep? It's late "Aiden said.
"I want to finish this first" said (y/n).

Aiden looked at the clock. Which indicated that it is almost midnight. (y/n) doesn't seem tired. She wanted to finish her work anyway. Aiden left her alone. He would come back later.

~ Small time skip ~

It was half past two when Aiden was looking back. He laughed when he saw (y/n)was fallen asleep behind the computer. Shown on the screen, she has completed her work. Aiden took her in bridal style and carried her to room.

"I don't wanne go to bed!" said (y/n), while she put her arms around his neck.
"Why are your eyes closed then?"
"I'm not tired!" Wailed (y/n) as a child of 5. Aiden laughed.
"Don't laugh at me," said (y/n) and looked at him.
"I'm not laughing at you!" Aiden said.
"Why do I see a smile on your face?"
"Because you're pretty cute when you're really tired" Aiden said.
"I'm not tired!"

Aiden ignored her childish outbursts, but it was funny. He tried not to laugh. That worked hard. He could no longer hold in his laughter, especially now that he laid (y/n) on her bed and she wouldn't let him go. Aiden fell forward. He could stop himself by leaning on his hands. (y/n) pressed her lips to his and kissed him deeply.

"You need to sleep!" Aiden said.
"How many times do I have to say that I'm not tired ?!"
"If your energy is gone, you tell nonsense" Aiden said.
"No way!"
"Besides, if you weren't tired, you would refuse this"
"You have a point" said (y/n), and let him go.
"It's ok. I'll wait "Aiden grabbed the bed sheet and put it on her.
"Sleep well, then" muttered (y/n), disappointing.

Aiden could conclude that she wanted him to lay down beside her, which he did. He wanted nothing more. (y/n) smiled, turned and laid her head on his chest.

"This is just as well," she said.
"I thought something like that" Aiden laughed.
"Sleep well, Aiden. I love you "said (y/n).
"I love you too" Aiden said.

He laid one hand on her back, the other stroked her hair. He kissed her head, before he closed his eyes.

~ The next morning ~

T-Bone and Jordi awoke. They were the only, to their surprise.

"Aiden and (y/n) aren't awake yet" Jordi said.
"I can understand why" said T-Bone.

He stood in the doorway of the room where (y/n) sliep and motioned that Jordi had to come and watch.

"You don't see that every day," said Jordi and kept his phone up.
"No pictures! You want (y/n) to do something? "T-Bone sounded serious and Jordi put his phone away.
"You don't see this every day. Why can't I make a picture of it?" murmured Jordi and walked away.

T-Bone sighed and closed the door.

Aiden and (y/n) were sleeping peacefully. It was Aiden's phone that woke him. (y/n) was too tired to wake up and slept quietly. Aiden was looking to his mobile phone and picked it up.

"Aiden Pearce"
"Hey, Aiden"
"Nicky! I am glad to hear you again. How are you? And with Jackson? "
"Good. He'll be fine. His new school suits him well and he has made new friends, "said Nicky.
"Glad to hear"
"I called...to ask if you wanted to come over. You know Jackson's birthday is today "
"Of course I know that. How can I forget? But ... you wanted me ... "
"I know what I said, Aiden. Jackson misses you and he wanted you to come "said Nicky.
"I miss him too. Send me your address and I'll come over "
"Thank you, Aiden" Nicky took off.

Aiden was happy. He hadn't seen Nicky and Jackson since they left. He was relieved that he could come along.

"Thank you, Jackson"

Aiden received an text message. The address where Nicky was now living. Just outside the city.

"I didn't know you could wake up so early" Aiden looked up.
"Sorry if I woke you up" said Aiden, who saw that (y/n) sat upright.
"It's ok" said (y/n) and rubbed the sleep from her eyes.
"You aren't yet fully awake" Aiden said.
"If I come out of the shower, you squeak otherwise" said (y/n) and laughed.

She stood up and grabbed her stuff. Aiden left her room and see two grinning faces.

"You're lucky that I woke up in a nice way" Aiden said.
"Yeah, we know"
"You should really stop to spy on us. (y/n) can be dangerous to respond, but I can also be dangerous" Aiden said.

T-Bone and Jordi took away.

~ At the store ~

"Are you sure I can join?"
"Why not?"
"Because I don't know your sister and your cousin," said (y/n).
"You learn to know them" Aiden said.
"Good. What do you buy for a 11 year old child that you don't know? "Asked (y/n).

Aiden and (y/n) walked through the electronics store. Aiden has something. Only (y/n) need a present. She didn't come empty-handed to them.

"How is spelled his name?" Asked (y/n).
"With CK, right?"
"Yes," Aiden said.
"What color is more beautiful?" Asked (y/n).

She knows from Aiden that Jackson has a tablet and (y/n) found a case with his name on it. There were different colors.

"Blue" Aiden said.
"The blue one, then" said (y/n) and took the blue case of the rack.
"See? Now you have something "
"Thanks to you" said (y/n) and looked at him irritated.

Aiden laughed and walked to the checkout.

~ At Nicky's house ~

"Wait here for a moment. I'm going informing my sister about you"
"Maybe you could ask her the first time" said (y/n) and leaned against her car.
"I didn't think of that. I didn't want to wake you up anyway "

Aiden ran to the house and rang the bell. Nicky came out and hugged Aiden. He explained that he had taken someone and pointed to (y/n). She waved. Nicky waved back and made a sign that she was welcome. (y/n) laughed and walked inside.

"Nicole Pearce. Call me Nicky "said Nicky.
"(y/n) (l/n)" said (y/n) and shook hands with Nicky.
"I'm sorry if my brother dragged you up here" said Nicky.
"He has his reasons. In any case, I have a gift for Jackson. I didn't want to come here empty-handed"
"That's nice of you. He sits in the garden "

(y/n) smiled and walked to the garden. It was full of children. Friends of Jackson. He sat at the picnic table and just blew the candles on the cake out. The children cheered and clapped, before they looked at (y/n).

"Jackson Pearce?" Asked (y/n). Jackson nodded.
"Hi. My name is (y/n) (l/n). Your uncle has dragged me here and I came to give you a gift. I hope you like it "said (y/n).

She gave the packed tablet case to Jackson. Who took it with a smile and tore it open. His eyes widened as he saw it.

"Can I assume that you like it?"
"Like it? I love it. Thank you, "said Jackson.
"You're welcome," said (y/n) and laughed.
"Jacks. You speak never to a stranger "Aiden said.
"Thanks for the compliment" said (y/n), sarcastically.

Aiden laughed. Jackson stood up and hugged Aiden. Then he hugged (y/n). She was surprised. Aiden also. He knows for sure: She is the one!
