I'm gonna die by the hands of a high school football player...Kassidy thought as the the football player looked into her eyes. The anger disappeared from his eyes. I can't do this to her... She has terror in her eyes... Jake thought looking into Kassidy's sky blue eyes. "Come on, give her what she deserves!" One of the jocks shouted from behind Jake.

They were all watching him. He couldn't wimp out now... No, I got to do this. She's a freak, and I've got to show her her place! With that, Jake's eyes returned to Kassidy's.

What was he gonna do?At that point, Bella walked up to Jake and whispered, "You really don't want to sink that low, do you?" Jake didn't even acknowledge Bella.

He stood there, and was debating in his mind what he should do. The freaks feelings, or my reputation? Jake thought. And then suddenly, he dropped Kassidy. Who fell like a brick to the ground.

"That's what I thought..." Bella said smugly as Jake walked off. Everyone watched as Jake walked away, shocked that he had gave up that easily. Both jocks followed him, questioning why he had let the small teen go.

"Shut up!" Jake finally exploded.

"Honestly, I don't know why I didn't rough her up! I don't know!" As Jake calmed down, Kevin whispered to the other player, "Someone's been watching too many chic flicks with his girl..."

Meanwhile, Bella was helping Kassidy off the floor as the crowd dispersed. A pink haired hipster walked over along with a short girl with her hair brown and in a bun.

It was Kasie and Lilly. Kasie was Lilly's best friend, and she hated seeing people get bullied.

"Are you alright?" Lilly spoke up. Kassidy just nodded. She was still a little shaken up.

"If he EVER does that again, I'm pounding his face in! That could have killed you!" Kasie said as she helped Kassidy dust herself off. And, as if out of nowhere Dawn walked up to them with Kassidy's things. The dirty blonde bestie apparently had no idea about what just took place. "Thanks, Dawn." Kassidy replied sadly as she took her stuff from her hands.

"I brought your stuff because you weren't in class when the bell rang." Dawn said, she frowned when he saw the words she written on her arms. It worried her.

"I'll talk to you later Dawn." The blonde teen turned away leaving them all behind, that's when Bella took notice of the strange words still written all over Kassidy's slender arms.

When Kassidy was out of earshot, Bella asked the rest of the group, "Did you guys see the words on her arms?" The others, besides Dawn, gave her confused looks.

"I saw one... I thought it said useless..." Dawn spoke up, softly. The bell rang. They didn't have time to finish their conversation. The group scattered in frenzy to get to class.

And then, the once crowded hallways became silent, except for Principal Starling voice over the intercom saying, "Jake Ferrari, please come to the office. Jake Ferrari."

"Why am I here?" The angry teen questioned his principal. The powerful woman sat at her desk, looking at him with a disappointed glare.

"After your little episode there out in the hallway, I'm questioning whether your to violent to participate in football." The principal said firmly, her eyes not leaving his. Jake raised an eyebrow, as if he didn't know what she was talking about.

"Don't look at me like that, Jake! Everyone saw you pin that girl to the lockers. And don't say you didn't, because I have video proof. And it's right here in my hand." She responded as she held up the DVD.

She didn't want to waste time with the smug comment of 'I didn't do it' that the football players always threw out in first defense. "So tell me," she began, "Why did you do it?" The boy looked away from the upset principal clearly trying to come up with an excuse.

He didn't want to get kicked off the team, Because honestly, they needed him, he was the best player they had. But, here was the problem: he couldn't think of anything to tell her... Because everything he thought of made him look like the bad guy. She sighed as she shook her head and got up from her desk. The principal left her office and over to her secretary's office. Jake listened in closely. Principal Starling whispered to the secretary,

"Please call Kassidy Walden to my office."

Kassidy walked into the secretary's office a few minutes later, and automatically asked, "Is it my Dad? What happened?" The secretary said nothing, just pointed to the door that lead to the principal's office.

Kassidy took off her jacket, tied it around her waist and walked past Jake, who sat outside the office grumbling to himself. She walked through the door, to be greeted by Principal Starling.

"Kassidy, sit down, please." Kassidy did as she was told. "Does this have to do with what happened earlier today?" Kassidy asked, fearing she would have to tell what happened.

"Yes, it does but, what is that on your arms?" Kassidy looked down and saw the partially washed off words on her arms. She had forgotten about that!

"Well," Kassidy began, trying to think of a excuse to distract her principal from the real problem.

"I like to write words on my arms. I write words that keep me focused to help me focus in class." The principal looked down at the student's arms.

"The word, 'slut' keeps you focused?" One of the principal's eyebrows raised.

"That's not slut... It says smart!" The principal walks over and raises her arm to show the word 'slut' that hadn't come off one bit. Kassidy lowered her head, defeated. Jake sat there. He could hear every word that they said.

Then, Kassidy told Principal Starling about all the years that Kayla had been torturing her. All the names she had been called. It made Jake remember the look in her eyes earlier that day. He and Kayla had done that to her.

He wished he hadn't been so upset to move next to her in science. He had been torturing her the whole two years since he moved here. He made it worse. It was his fault he was here!

Then, Principal Starling came out of her office and whispered to her secretary, "I need you to pull three girls out of class."
