It was a little over a month since Kassidy and Jake's date. It was a Saturday and Kassidy had spent the entire day with Dawn. They had gone out for dinner, the two of them went to eat at there favorite restaurant together.

Kassidy didn't have to go to work since Silent Garden was closed because of important repairs to the building, She had the entire day to do whatever she wanted, and she spent most of it with her best friend. Jake was out of town on an important trip and would not return until some time later that day.

Kassidy and Dawn laughed together as they both exited the restaurant. Kassidy had a hand on her stomach because she was feeling a little sick after eating.

"I can't believe I vomited on the waiter, that was so embarrassing." Kassidy said as she put her other hand over her face to hide her embarrassment.

One minute everything was okay, the two friends were laughing and talking to each other and then Kassidy suddenly stopped talking and had a strange look come upon her face. And just as the waiter was walking by their table, Kassidy unexpectedly vomited on the startled waiter. Needless to say, the duo didn't stay to long in the restaurant after Kassidy's little mishap.

Kassidy couldn't help but start to laugh again when she thought about it. Dawn couldn't stop laughing either, but at the same time she couldn't help but worry about her. She noticed she had been getting sick a lot lately and vomiting.

Sometimes in the morning Kassidy would wake up sick and would vomit as well but it wasn't just in the mornings when it hit, it was also during the day sometimes, even when she was at school. Although she never really payed much attention as to what it could be that was making her sick.

"Kassidy, you have been getting sick a lot lately, are you okay?" Dawn inquired.

"I'm fine bestie, don't worry about me." Kassidy said reassuringly, giving the worried friend a small smile.

Dawn questioned her no further, even if Kassidy was sick she wouldn't tell Dawn, because she didn't want her to worry about her.

"Well Kassidy, I'll see you later, I have to meet with Cole now, so I better go."

The smaller embraced her friend in a hug before leaving to meet with her boyfriend. As the two of them waved bye to each other, Dawn couldn't help but get a bad feeling about Kassidy. Like something awful was going to happened to her. But she tried to shake the feeling off.

Still a part of her knew that her father was still somewhere out there, wanting nothing more but revenge on his daughter.

'Maybe I should make sure she gets back to the shelter alright, I don't want anything bad to happen to her,' Dawn thought to herself.

But when Dawn turn back around, Kassidy was no longer there standing in front of the restaurant, but instead an older couple now stood in her place. They chatted loudly to each other about how nice the weather was today.

Kassidy had already left.

Kassidy had decided to go for a run through out the town. As she ran through the busy streets, Kassidy couldn't help and think about Jake and their future. A beaming smile appeared on her lips when she thought about them married and having a family.

School was almost over. Maybe after they graduated and finished school they could get married? And be together...with no Kayla to ever bother them ever again.

She wished Jake didn't have to go on that stupid trip today. Sure it was just for a day, but she couldn't stand being away from him for so long. She missed him terribly, and wanted to be with him on this beautiful sunny day.
