Her Saviour

Chapter 6

For hours on end Kayla laid on her bed sobbing in a pity party.

Kylee, who was with the fuming popular, was actually getting pretty tired of hearing about Kayla's winy complaints and "how horrible her life was".

The short minion sat at the foot of Kayla's queen size bed, rolling her eyes every time Kayla broke out into a loud sob. Luckily for Kylee, these facial expressions went unnoticed to the rich brat.

Kayla went on and on about how she thought that Kassidy was stupid, freaky, and ugly, about how Jake dumped her, and that Jake was making a huge mistake for being a friend to Kassidy now.

"How dare he dump me! Does he know what he's giving up?" Kayla wailed as she jammed her fist into her bed.

"He's making a huge mistake! Dumping me and being friends with that...that ugly freak!"The rich teenager buried her face in her pillow as she sobbed more.

Kylee really wished she had a pair of ear plugs right now, she couldn't take anymore of the annoying cries from Kayla."I hate my life!" My life is so miserable!" Kayla cried as she lifted her head from the pillow. Kayla's life was no where near miserable. She had everything giving to her on a silver platter.

The girl was spoiled rotten... She lived in a huge expensive house, had a closet full of clothes, dresses, and shoes, had three cars just to herself, and money falling out of her pockets.

Yeah... Her life was so miserable... Kayla would never know what a miserable life was until she lived a single day in Kassidy's life."I'm sure you two will get back together..." Kylee said very sarcastic as she rolled her eyes.

This wasn't the first time this had happened... Jake and Kayla had always had an on and off relationship. They would get into a fight, break up, and then a few days later Kayla would come crawling back to Jake, and he would always take her back.

But, would he really take her back this time? Now, that he truly saw how she was?Suddenly, Kayla's bedroom door swung open and in came Karlie.

In her hand, she held her cell phone, like she had just received a call before she came into the room."Oh my gosh, you guys! Do I have some news to tell you!" A heartless, smile spread across her face when she finished speaking.

Both Kayla and Kylee looked at one another puzzled and shocked about what Karlie's news could be. But they wasted no time in waiting to find out, both girls jumped up eager to hear what it was."What is it Karlie!" Kylee said with excitement.

"So, Claire called Haley, and told her, and Haley wanted me to tell you-"

"Well you just spit it out already!" Kayla barked. She was growing very inpatient with Karlie at the moment.

"Alright! Alright! Kassidy tried to commit suicide last night!" Karlie blurted out. Both Kayla and Karlie stood still, with a look of shock on there face. A mischievous grin slowly came upon
Kayla's face, followed by a cruel laugh, in which the other two girls joined in with her. Down at the hospital, in the gift shop, Jake was busy looking for the perfect gift for Kassidy. Kasie had called and told Jake that they had found Kassidy, and that she was not in good shape.

Guilt and sadness came over Jake as he heard the sad news. He knew something was wrong with her. He had a bad feeling ever since Kassidy disappeared from the party last night.

He felt he was to blame for what happened to her. If only, he hadn't tortured her all those years... Every time he thought about the way he treated her, he wanted to slap himself. How could he have been that way? Getting his enjoyment from someone's else pain?

He regretted everything he ever said or did to her. He looked all around the small gift shop, but no matter how hard he looked, he just couldn't find the perfect gift.
