BUCKY (listen to the song while reading, I just took a feel trip to feeladelphea </3)

He looked into the room, bodies littered the hallway behind him. He found her in a heated room with a muzzle type thing on her mouth. Her eyes were closed as she was chained to the ceiling, she was elevated by her wrists as she hung limply. She opened her eyes only to close them once more. Shaking her head as he wasn't her mission.

The only thing she could feel was the blood running down her face from the doctors "testing" their equipment on her.

He quickly ran to her and broke the chains, catching her in time before she fell. He held her in his arms as he tried to take off her muzzle. She shook her head weakly but Bucky didn't listen, he took it off and threw it to the ground.

"I won't let them hurt you ever again..." He said as he cradled her body, this was the first time he had seen her with legs so he covered up her parts with an old jacket and some small shorts he found lying around.

"Y-you don't know me." Sarah whispered lightly as she trembled, she didnt even know who she was.

"...Maybe not now, but I will make sure I do." He said as he brought her closer to his chest. The words seemed to roll off his tongue when he was around her, like he had never been wiped so many times before.

These weren't words that the winter soldier would ever use.

She cringed as her body begged for some kind of moisture or coolness. He just put his metal arm around her back so it'd touch her skin.

"I don't want to be in that room anymore." She whispered as she tried to not use her voice as her thoughts were clouding and her consciousness was fading. She hadn't used her voice in a long time.

"I'll get rid of the people that want to enslave you, even if it takes me a thousand lifetimes." He said running towards the exit quickly noticing her dehydration.

"W-why?" She asked again in a whisper confused.

"Because I remember you somehow, so from somewhere deep in me, my head is saying.... I-I'm with you till the end of the line." He cooed with tears in his eyes as he got an emotional memory back.

"I dont know you." She whispered in pain as her head throbbed. Her body was so used to being in water and alone that she had almost forgotten what the caring touch of a human was like, one that wasn't hurting or violating her.

"I think you were the first to say that to me... Hey stay awake for me." He said shaking her as he saw her begin to doze off.

As she tried to stay awake she hid her face in his neck, the light to her was blinding and she could hardly stay awake.

"I swear to it, they'll never take you away ever again. I'll make sure of it." He whispered to her form that was in and out of consciousness.

"B- But I killed them all... I'm a monster... A villain... S- stop... stop..." Sarah whispered with tears in her eyes as a flashback hit her.

At this he stayed silent for a bit before speaking in a gentle voice,

"What you and the world don't realize is that a villain is only a victim whose story hasn't been told. And you are anything but a monster." At these words he finally opened the doors to lead them outside.

The last thing she recalled before she plunged into darkness was the feeling of bliss knowing she was free.
