Chapter 4- Kidnapping

*Rose's POV*

"Lissa. Don't move." I quickly pull my stake from my boot and get in a defensive position. "Let her go Strigoi." He brought his free hand to Lissa's face and carefully drug his nails down her cheek.

"Gladly." The Strigoi threw Lissa against the side of the school and her body lay motionless on the ground. "Oops." I charged at the Strigoi but he dodged and was behind me within a split second. Before I could turn around fast enough he had tackled me to the ground and pinned my arms to the ground.

I struggled against him but it seemed the more I did the tighter his hold got on my wrists. "How does it feel to be constricted and helpless?" He whispered in my ear and I screamed as his grip on my wrist caused it to crack. "To bad your boyfriends not here to save you. Not that he could do anything anywa-" I cut him off by throwing my head forward as hard as I could instantly connecting mine with his own. It was enough to stun him and I shoved him off me but as I went to grab my stake he stomped his boot on my wrist and I let out another shriek of pain.

"Rose!" Lissa screams as she rushes up from the ground. Only to have two Strigoi come out of the shadows and pull her back.

"We don't need her. She only wants this one." He gestured towards me and the others scowled but through Lissa to the ground again and walk over to us. I manage to grab my stake and as the Strigoi's lift me up I bring my elbow into the one on my rights stomach and punch the one on my left in the face. As I launch at the last Strigoi he looks shocked at first but then grabs me by the throat. "Not so fast."

"I'm going to kick your ass." I choke out and he smiles.

"How are you going to do that when you're unconscious?" He asks and his grip on my throat tightens. My stake falls to the ground as I claw at his hand but no matter how hard I try I can't get him to let go. My vision starts to blur as his grip somehow gets even stronger and a single tear slips down my face as my mind goes black.

*Lissa's POV*

I awake with a groan and the worst headache ever. As my eyes adjust to the dark I see that I'm outside the school building. What the? Oh no. Rose! I quickly get up and see her stake on the ground. After picking it up I run as fast as I can toward Christian's dorm hoping he's there.

"Christian?!" I yell as I pound on the door, tears filling my eyes. "Christian! Please!" The door swings open and Christian grabs my shoulders as he sees my tear stricken face.

"What is it? Lissa what happened?!" He asked as he pulls me inside. I just lay my head on his chest and cry for awhile. "Lissa please you're scaring me." I pulled away from Christian and looked up at him.

"It's Rose...Strigoi attacked us. They took her but threw me to the side. Why would they do that? Why would they take her and not me? I don't get it!" I whispered. The pain and fear inside my heart caused my knees to give out and I just sobbed. There was no way we could get Rose back. At least not by ourselves. But there's no way Ms.Kirova would approve a search party. One because she hates Rose and two because she'd say 'it's to dangerous to risk.'

"Lissa. I'm so sorry. But hey we'll get her back." He assures but I can in his voice that he thinks it's impossible.

"How?! You know Ms.Kirova would never approve the missi- that's it!" I yell as I jump up. "We need Dimitri. But he's gone on a mission! Oh Christian what do we do?!"

He scratched his head as he was deep in thought. "I hate to say it but we'll probably have to wait till he gets back. Seeing as neither of us have phones to contact him."

"B-but Rose..." He sighed and helped me up.

"She'll just have to be strong. You know she is. In the meantime we can try and figure out where she is through the bond." I nod and let my mind go blank as I concentrate on looking through Rose's eyes but nothing happens.

"She must still be passed out." I groaned. "I'll try again tomorrow but right now I need to sleep." I take off my shoes then slip under Christian's covers. 'Be strong Rose. Please.' I send through the bond before I fall into a restless sleep.

A/N: Hey guys I'm so sorry this has taken so long. I had been dealing with my last few months of my freshman year. Actually my last day was May 27 but I've been to lazy to write. I know this is super short but I will start the next chapter right now I promise!
