"Yes..I always try to be"
"I don't either"

Those words kept on replaying in my head throughout my drive back home.

"What did she mean?"

I saw her eyes filled with pain as she spoke and all I wanted to do was to kiss the pain away until her friend interrupted us.

"Would I have kissed her?"

Hell yeah! I have wanted to kiss those rose lips since the day I saw her. "Damn I'm whipped". I climbed up the stairs into my room as I laid on the bed thinking about bright blonde hair and blue eyes. Her words kept on taunting me.

"Who or what caused you pain Lolita? " I asked myself as I drifted off to sleep

"You will not escape me today Lolita!" Sophia said as she followed me to get the breakfast café/bar ready for opening. I turned around to face her.

"What do you want to know?"I asked with my hands folded in front of my chest

"Well...firstly how's the job?"she asked

"Its lovely though can be a little boring when no one's around but they have an amazing library and field so I might not be that bored again " I said "anything else?"

"Yes..who was the guy that dropped you off in that sleek car girl?" She said her eyes glistening with curiosity

"Which guy? "

I looked up and saw Pablo and Marissa walking in as they both came to hug me with Pablo taking long of course

"We've missed you...mostly Pablo "Marissa said smiling

"That is true" Pablo said "what guy were you guys talking about?"

"Lolita got dropped off by a handsome guy in a sleek car I think it was a Bentley so I'm asking her who it was" Sophia answered

"A guy... in a Bentley..oh my God are you seeing someone? "Marissa asked

"What!"I and Pablo said together

"She isn't... you aren't right Loli? " he asked looking at me

"No" I said as I watched Pablo exhale "he is my boss"

"Your boss!" They all chorused

Am I the only one tempted to say jinx here..guess so

"What?..he just offered me a lift that's all" I defended

"But I saw his hand on your cheek and he was staring at you intensely" Sophia said

Damn girl it's this an interrogation... hmm officer?

I looked at the three of them as they watched me expecting answers

"He was just... you know trying to show me where I had dust on my face you know from all the cleaning...it's a really dusty house guys"I said I need to up my lying skills...seriously dust!!

"Ohh" Sophia said "he is a nice person then"

"I guess so" Marissa said

"I don't like him already" Pablo said with a frown

Marissa shoved him "you don't like any guy near Lolita dumbass"

"True" he said with a smirk

"So are we opening the shop or what?" I asked
