HEAL ME

CHAPTER 6

I noticed something today... Andre didn't go to work in fact he has been in the house office upstairs since.. how do I know?  I might have done a little snooping around... what?

I knocked on the door of his office with a tray that has a cup of coffee on it.

"Come in"

I entered and everywhere was a mess like literally.. there are files scattered everywhere and he was sitting on his chair with his glasses on...he sure makes nerdy look cool  looking through some papers. He looked up seeing me he smiled.

"Sorry for the mess...it's been stressful lately" he said

"It's alright... I noticed you haven't had anything so I just got a cup of coffee for you" I said putting the tray on his desk

"Thank you " he said taking a sip "I really needed this"

"Do you need help sir?" I asked making his eyes widen " I mean not with your work stuff or anything just to arrange a bit"

"Oh sure " he said "the files are labelled with letters just arrange them in alphabetic order"

"Okay"

I bent down and began working mehn there were so many  I found myself looking back to stare at him as he worked his eyes were so focused and he kept on bringing his glasses up and down. Sometimes when I turn I found him looking at me or my butt I only smiled at him as he smiled back.  I am almost done with files when I heard my name.

"Lolita!!"

Its Maria I forgot to tell her I was here.

"Yes"I answered as she opens the door and walks in

"Dear lord" she exhaled "I have been looking everywhere for you... you never returned after you took the coffee "

"Im sorry Maria i--"

"I asked her to help me arrange the files..you know how I am with scattering my files" Andre cuts me off

"That I know son" she said "well I will be going out I need to babysit my granddaughter today...I will be back by six"

"You know you are free to go out anytime Maria dear " he said

"Thats why I was telling Lolita not you my boy" she said smiling making him chuckle

"I will be fine Maria" I said

"Okay then...bye kids" she said as she winks at us closing the door

"Did she just call us kids?" Andre asks

"Yeah" I said laughing as he shook his head

"Lolita?"

I turned to see his hand stretched out handing me a file.  "This is the list of schools I told you to check out" he said

I took it from him "thank you sir"

"Just go through them when you are free OK?"

"Yes sir" I said "thank you so much"

I finished arranging the files as I took the file he gave me with the tray and left.

Few minutes later he came down into the kitchen where I was going through the list.

"Have you found anyone you like?" He asked grabbing an apple from the bowl on the counter

"No not yet" I said, actually the schools were either far or above my budget if you add getting my own apartment and other necessities
